  Light’s house 19:00. . .

  “We’re home!” said Runelt.

  “Waaahhh!! What a tiring day!” said Rena.

  Both of them have just entered Light’s house and are entering the living room.

  “Yo, you two!” greets Light.

  Light greets them while sitting on the sofa in the living room with the TV on, watching the news.

  “Yo, Light!”

  “Hello, Light-nii-san!”

  “Hm? Where’s Lily-san?” asks Runelt.

  “In the bath! We took one at the same time, but I came out earlier.”

  But as soon as Light was speaking, Lily came down the second floor to the Living room.

  “Oh, you two are here! Welcome home!” greets Lily, while still drying her hair with her towel.

  “Yo, Lily-san!”

  “Hello, Lily-onee-chan!”

  Rena suddenly looks towards Light and sees that he looks stunned by the way Lily looks right now, with her hair still half wet. It looks sexy in his eyes. Rena quickly approaches Light on the sofa with a clear anger in her eyes.

  “LIGHT-NII-SAN! WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT LILY-ONEE-CHAN WITH A PAIR OF LECHEROUS EYES? EXPLAIN!!”

  “Tch! She’s my girlfriend! I am gonna look at her however I want, thank you!”

  “BEING OPENLY PERVERTED IN FRONT OF ME IS NOT A GOOD MOVE, LIGHT-NII-SAN!!”

  *FWOOOOOOOOMMM*

  Rena suddenly raises both of her arms to the side, and her palms catch scarlet flame.

  “I’M GONNA PUNISH YOU FOR THAT!!”

  “Tch! Don’t use your Faith power in my home! You’ll make a mess!”

  “AW!”

  Runelt walks behind Rena and chops the top of her head. Her scarlet flame also disappears on impact as per her own will.

  “Drop it, you moronic sister!” said Runelt.

  “HUUUHH? WHO DID YOU CALL A MORON, STUPID NII-SAN?” said Rena as she furiously turned around towards Runelt.

  “I said drop it!”

  Lily was looking at the scene with an exhausted look in her eyes.

  “(This again. . .)”

  Light stands up from the sofa and turns the TV off. He walks towards Lily as Runelt and Rena continue to argue.

  “Not gonna lie, I’m beyond tired of seeing her being jealous of any of us who are in a relationship, over and over again! It’s to the point where it’s just annoying!” whispers Light to Lily’s ear.

  “I agree! We have to do something! Seems like her brother has already scolded her countless times, and she never listened to him.” replied Lily.

  “Let’s find out her motive, Lily! The whole reason why she is always this petty!”

  “Okay! I’m in!”

  “Good! I’ll talk to Runelt, and you talk to the brat! Try to be sincere about it! Just be careful about setting off her annoying rants!”

  “Okay!”

  “Alright, you two! Go and take a bath immediately! Let’s not fill the house with your stink anymore!” said Light.

  “Okay!” replied Runelt.

  “Tch! Okay, Light-nii-san!” replied Rena.

  Light and Lily left the living room for the second floor.

  “Hey, Rena-chan!”

  “Lily-onee-chan! What’s up?”

  “Just wanted to make sure that it stays between us, hehe!”

  They walk back towards Lily’s room and sit on the bed, face to face.

  “So, what do you wanna talk about, Lily-onee-chan?”

  “Uumm. . . I was wondering why you are so envious of couples in general? Is there a particular reason for it? There has to be a reason, right?” asks Lily sincerely.

  Rena looks down right after the first question. Lily immediately felt worried that she might react explosively, and that would kill the conversation right away.

  “Do you. . . find me annoying, Lily-onee-chan?”

  “Only when you’re acting envious! Other than that, I think of you as my own little sister. . .”

  “I see. . . I apologize for being annoying, Lily-onee-chan. . .” said Rena as she bowed her head on the bed.

  “T-There’s no need to formally apologize like that! I am just curious about what even triggered such a reaction out of you. It doesn’t seem normal if I am being honest. . .”

  Rena lifts her head.

  “Well, it’s mostly because I also crave for a relationship. . .”

  “Eh?”

  “I am jealous whenever I see couples care so much towards one another. . . I was always wondering about how that would feel. I am just so insanely eager to find out. . .”

  “So, you’ve never been in a relationship before, huh? I can’t say I’ve always wanted a relationship, considering my unique upbringing, but after meeting Light-kun, I can say that I am beyond happy every day being with him!” said Lily with a smile.

  “That’s good for you, Lily-onee-chan! I envy you, honestly. Light-nii-san seems to care a lot about you. . . Also, you’re wrong, Lily-onee-chan! I did have relationships!”

  “Eh? Really? A plural even?”

  “Yeah! Those times were when I just started school, right in the 3rd year of middle school. I’ve dated every single boy in my classroom every single day.”

  “W-WHAAATTTTT? YOU’VE DATED DIFFERENT BOYS AT THE SAME TIME?”

  “*Sigh* Anyway, all I did was go to an amusement park with different boys each day; we did nothing more than that. I also ended the relationship every day once nighttime came. I kinda feel bad because all the boys were crying the next day though. . .”

  “Eh? That’s cruel! Now I wish you’ll never find a boyfriend, Rena-chan. . .” said Lily in shock.

  “EEEHHH?? YOU’RE A MEANIE, LILY-ONEE-CHAN!! WHY CURSE ME THAT WAY? HUWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!”

  Rena starts hitting Lily’s shoulder with the bottom of her fists as she cries.

  “S-Sorry, I was just joking! I had no cruel intention! I apologize, Rena-chan!”

  *sobs sobs*

  “That was a cruel joke, Lily-onee-chan. . .”

  “I-I’m sorry once again! That was too far. . .”

  “*sobs sobs* So, anyway, during those multiple relationships, I never felt like I was truly in an actual relationship. Seeing how all the boys reacted to me was kinda cute, and outwardly, it feels good. But at the same time, there’s something crucial missing. I still don’t know what it is, though, even today.”

  “Love, Rena-chan! Love! That’s the only thing missing in your relationships! At least love, in the sense between male and female!”

  “Love?”

  “Yeah! That certain feeling that you get whenever you see the face of someone you love feels immensely good! And I always have those feelings whenever I look at Light-kun!” said Lily as she smiled stupidly.

  “Hmm, I remember you said that you had a crush on Light-kun during our first meeting, but I guess now I know it’s not really genuine.”

  “. . .Yeah. In my mind, I just think that having Light-kun as my boyfriend would make me look good. That’s all!”

  “That really is the wrong way to look at relationships, Rena-chan! Drop that mindset, please!”

  “I understand Lily-onee-chan. . .”

  “So anyway, tell me about your daily life, Rena-chan! Have you found any potential partners?”

  Rena lets out a huge sigh.

  “All I did every day was tag along with my brother in our Judge duty. . .”

  “I see. . . I guess with our line of work, it’s kinda difficult to find someone, huh?”

  “(This makes me realize that my meeting and relationship with Light-kun is orchestrated by God Himself! Thank you, Lord Jesus! I am forever grateful!)”

  “Though, there were multiple incidents happening with my stupid brother though. . .”

  “Eh? Were they serious?”

  “Those were serious, but not physically, only spiritually. . .”

  “And you know what the worst part is? IT’S HIS WAY OF CONFESSION!! HE PROMISED TO BUY HER ALL THE EXPENSIVE THINGS IN THE WORLD, TREATED HER TO A FANCY AND EXPENSIVE RESTAURANT ON EVERY DATE, AND PROMISED HER TO HAVE ALL KINDS OF BRANDED GOODS WHENEVER SHE NEEDED!!”

  “W-Worldly things?”

  “MY STUPID BROTHER THINKS THAT WOMEN ONLY CARE ABOUT PHYSICAL STUFF!! THAT’S WHY HE ALWAYS GETS REJECTED!! HE TREATED RELATIONSHIP AS IF IT’S TRANSACTIONAL!!”

  “Hm. . . To be fair, though, there are gold diggers out there who treat men simply as a bank account, and not a person! That woman must be a high-class type to be rejecting him on the spot!”

  “Yeah! The thing is, though, every woman he deemed beautiful and desireable, are all kind and sincere women who don’t really mind the man’s wealth!”

  “I see. How unfortunate! Never thought Runelt-san to be that type of person. . . You two really are peas in a pod!”

  “HUUUHHH? HOW ARE WE PEAS IN A POD? I’VE NEVER BEEN REJECTED BY ANYONE I CONFESSED TO!!”

  “Yet, you are never in a true relationship either! So it’s appropriate to say that you two are the same.”

  “GRRRRRRRRRRR!!! STANDING ON A HIGH GROUND JUST BECAUSE YOU’RE IN A RELATIONSHIP!!”

  “Tell me honestly, Lily-onee-chan! How far have you gotten with Light-nii-san?”

  Rena leans closer towards Lily.

  “Y-You know! Kissing, hugging, sex! Those kinds of stuff!”

  Lily was surprised by her question.

  “I-I see what you mean! But we’re in a Godly relationship, so all we did were kisses on the cheeks and forehead, not on the lips, though, and hugging! We. . . kinda hugged a lot recently. . . It makes me desire him a lot deeper because of it. . .” said Lily embarrassedly as she twiddles her finger, looking away from Rena.

  “Wow. . . I am very thrilled by that information, Lily-onee-chan. . .” said Rena with a grumpy face and tone.

  “YOU WERE THE ONE WHO ASKED ME THAT QUESTION!!”

  “So, are there any other stuff happening between you two?”

  “Hmm. . . OH! We. . . have started talking about marriages. . .” said Lily with a red face as she taps her pointing finger multiple times against each other.

  “W-Wow. . . That is. . . So when are you gonna marry? Any dates yet?”

  “Nah! Not yet! I proposed to him, but he rejected.”

  “EH? LIGHT-KUN REJECTED YOUR PROPOSAL? HOW DARE HE?”

  “W-WAIT, RENA-CHAN! IT’S NOT WHAT YOU THINK! HE’S JUST CONCERNED ABOUT STUFF AND THINGS LIKE PREGNANCY DURING OUR JUDGE DUTY!! Not to mention the day of the gathering feels like it’s getting closer by the day! I just had that strong feeling.”

  “O-Oh. . . I see. I was this close to going to his room to kick his ass for rejecting you!”

  “He’s just thinking about me seriously! Thanks to that, I feel like falling in love all over again with him.” said Lily with a sincere smile.

  “And I wonder how that would feel. . . AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! I WISH SOMEONE WOULD LOVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I WANT A BOYFRIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNDDDD!!”

  Rena shouts loudly in frustration while Lily is looking at her with the same tired expression as usual.
