Chapter 100 : Lucky Things

  A few minutes later.

"Hmmm, this person doesn't have any unusual information either. It seems these bandits just happened to attack our horse-drawn carriage," said Miss Karina, clutching the head of one of the unconscious bandits.

The bandit was hanging upside down, entangled in a tree trunk that had protruded from the ground. Not only was he entangled by the trunk, many of them were entangled by tree trunks that had suddenly emerged from the ground. All of the bandits entangled by the trunk had been entangled by the same knot around their necks, suffocating them and crushing their cervical vertebrae.

In addition to those entangled, some were also impaled by the tree trunk that had protruded from the ground and penetrated their bodies. Their bodies hung from the top of the tree trunk with large holes in their bodies. The rest lay dead on the ground, small plants growing on their bodies. The two horse-drawn carriages were destroyed, and the horses fled.

"It seems they just happened to attack us. I feel sorry for them," said Soldier 1.

"There's no need to pity people like them. When they attack their victims for their belongings, they show no compassion for them," said Miss Karina, who had just finished searching for information on the bodies.

"You're right, Miss. But are you okay, Miss? We apologize for not being able to help," said Soldier 1.

"It's okay, after all, I personally ordered you to protect the carriage," said Miss Karina.

"It seems you need to increase the number of soldiers escorting you when you travel outside the academy again, to prevent things like this from happening again," said Soldier 1.

"No need. I'm not an important figure like a Duke or Her Majesty the Queen, so I don't need a large number of guards," said Miss Karina.

  "Okay," said Soldier 1.

"Should I say that the bandit attack on our horse-drawn carriage was fortunate?" asked Soldier 2.

"What's fortunate about being attacked by bandits like this?" asked Soldier 1.

"Well, I mean, these bandits could have been easily taken out by Miss Karina. But if these bandits had attacked other people passing by this road instead of us, wouldn't that have been even more dangerous? That's why I said that the bandit attack on our horse-drawn carriage was fortunate," said Soldier 2.

"You have a point," said Soldier 1.

"This situation wouldn't have happened if 'Strom Leopard' had done its job properly. This road is the main route from San Estella to San Lucia and other areas in San Lucia. How could bandits attack the main road so openly? Luckily, it's quiet right now, but if the same thing happens again, I don't know what will happen. Anyway, we'll report this incident to 'Strom Leopard' when we pass their guard post." said Miss Karina.

"Yes, Miss," said the two soldiers.

"Just in case, I think I should tell you about this too. If I only report it to 'Strom Leopard,' I'm afraid they'll just accept the report without taking any action. If that's true, you'll have to evaluate this entire troop, sis," thought Miss Karina.

"Let's get going again, the weather is getting cold here and we're almost in San Lucia City," said Miss Karina.

"What about the bodies, Miss?" asked Soldier 1.

"Just leave them alone. The 'Strom Leopards' will take care of them when we report this to them," said Miss Karina.

  "Okay," said Soldier 1.

Then Miss Karina and the two soldiers climbed back into the carriage. The carriage began to move, and they continued their journey.

Meanwhile, as Miss Karina's carriage had already moved far enough away from the bandits' bodies, a figure appeared where the bodies lay. The figure simply watched as Miss Karina's carriage slowly drew further away.

  Back to the academy.

Currently, I was patrolling the academy forest looking for any rule breakers. Eventually, I found them.

"How did you get here?" Charlos asked.

"I wonder what happened? By the way, you haven't changed, have you? You were caught by senior Nadine before, and now you're blackmailing someone again? You were caught in the library before, and now you're doing it in a different place, aren't you? You just haven't learned your lesson," I said.

Charlos and his three friends, whom I met in the library earlier, were currently blackmailing a different male student. Luckily, this time I caught them first, as the male student didn't appear to be injured.

"It's very rude of you to speak to me like that without the title 'senior,'" Charlos said.

"I have no respect for you, so I don't need the title 'senior,'" I said.

"Fuck, all of you, attack him," Charlos said.

"I'm a member of Elevrad now, so I can beat you all up under the guise of upholding academy rules," I said.

Then I started beating them one by one with my punches and kicks. I hit them without any weapons or magic.

"Damn it, since we're outside, let's just use our magic. We have to teach this bastard a lesson," Charlos said.

"Misusing magic will only increase your punishment," I said.

  "Fuck off!," Charlos said.

The four of them started attacking me with their magic, but I managed to dodge all of their attacks. Then I started hitting them again until they all fell to the ground.

In the main hall of Elevrad.

"I see, so you successfully handled the blackmail case perpetrated by third-year students," said senior Florian.

  "Yes, Senior," I said.

"This person and his friends have often blackmailed other students. He's even known as a naughty student in my year. You're amazing at handling them," said Senior Florian.

"Oh ,that's normal. By the way, when are senior Vyn and the others returning to the academy?" I asked.

"It looks like they'll be back tomorrow, but I don't know if they'll be back during the day or at night. But I can guarantee that they'll be back at Elevrad the day after tomorrow," said Senior Florian.

"I see. Thank you for the information, Senior," I said.

"You're welcome. You may go now, Rid. Thank you for your patrol today," said Senior Florian.

  "No problem, Senior," I said.

Then I left the Elevrad room.

"Judging from the report, they used magic to attack Rid, who was trying to restrain them. But Rid was able to defeat them barehanded. Defeating four third-year students barehanded? If he's this strong with only his bare hands, it seems he'll be difficult to deal with," said senior Florian.

That night, around the outer walls of San Fulgen Academy.

A soldier assigned to guard the Academy was seen patrolling the walls. Soldiers usually patrol for fear of intruders entering the academy grounds through the walls. Initially, the soldier didn't notice anything unusual during his patrol, but as he continued, he spotted a woman wearing a robe looking over the academy wall.

"Hey, what are you doing here at this time of night?" the soldier asked.

But the woman in the robe didn't respond. After looking over the wall, the woman in the robe turned and prepared to leave. However, the soldier who caught him was seen preparing to attack, wielding his sword.

"Wait, answer my question," the soldier said.

But the cloaked woman continued to walk away, ignoring the soldier.

"I said wait, you bastard," the soldier said.

He rushed toward the cloaked woman. However, the woman immediately turned toward the soldier and swiftly struck him with her palm, striking him hard in the chest. The soldier immediately bled profusely from his mouth and fell to the ground.

"You've been so noisy, even though I was just watching," the cloaked woman said.

The woman then removed the hood from his cloak. It turned out to be a woman with animal ears resembling a jaguar. Her tail also protruded from the back of her cloak. However, around her neck was an iron collar, indicating she was a slave.

"I was originally ordered by my master to infiltrate this academy while the principal was away. But..." The woman said, looking up at the wall.

"The reason it's so difficult to infiltrate this academy must be because of that, the detection magic on the wall. It surrounds the entire academy wall. It's invisible with normal means, but fortunately, my eyes can see it."

"If I had just infiltrated the wall, the academy would have known that an intruder had entered its territory. Although many soldiers were guarding the outer wall, it wouldn't have been difficult to get past them. But the hardest part is getting past this detection magic."

"I must return to report this to my master," the woman said.

The woman then began to leave the area and disappeared into the darkness of the night.
