Hello!
We've done it, another volume!
Volume 2 was a direction continuation of the story, and volume 3 will be much the same. I call them "Volumes" but there isn't much of a break between them.
The goal with this part of the story was to explore the couple's life some more, and give them progression.
I like to think of volume 1 as the planting of a seed, and volume 2 as the seed sprouting. We're starting to get an inkling of long-term effects, giving us an idea of how their lives will play out.
If volume 2 is sprouting, volume 3 will be the start of growth. Our little plant is now out in the world, and will have to fight to grow up big and strong.
This also marks three months since I've started writing, and I am personally super proud that I have never once missed by self-imposed goal of 1 chapter a day, 6 days a week. Sometimes, I even wrote more than one! Sometimes it was hard - the chapter didn't want to come out, sometimes it was easier.
If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
And yet, I know I've only taken baby steps as far as a writer's path can be. The true professionals have written millions of words. I'm barely reaching 300,000 (with the advanced chapters I've written so far.)
But I'm dedicated to keep going! I have a good pace going, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon!
Will this story eventually end? Probably. I'm not sure when. I have a lot in mind for the future, but I also have ideas for other stories that I want to get to, at some point. I might post less often, and run two concurrent stories, or I might finish this one and move on. No idea yet!
But that's the far future. For now, it's on to volume 3, where we'll be revisiting old places, meeting new people, and exploring more of the world!
As for you, my readers, I only have a few things to say: Thank you so, so much for your continued readership. I hope I can keep producing a story that you enjoy reading, for as long as possible. Your comments, messages, reviews, ratings - any feedback is part of what keeps me going. I get a smile on my face each time a new comment pops up, and it makes my day.
As always, please never hesitate to let me know how you feel about the story. Whether it's something you like or don't like, I'll take it all!
