Hello friends!

  First and foremost, I want to say thank you for being patient with me through the last few months. As a reader of many novels here (and on other websites), I know how frustrating it can be when an author stops posting new chapters for a story I'm emotionally invested in. I feel like I've left some of you in that situation, and for that I am truly sorry.

  The good news is that the manuscript for Royal Blooded 4 is done! It's the longest novel I have ever written, and while it needs some editing love I am quite proud of how it's turned out. I'm so excited for you to read it soon - it has plot lines and ideas that I've been building towards for years, and I can't wait to see how you like them.

  The less good news is that I'm going to ask for a little bit of additional patience. My intent is to finish writing Royal Blooded 5 (yes, that's right - the following book in the series) and get them both edited before I start posting. This is a deliberate choice on my part because I've seen how much the algorithms which govern our lives value frequent and regular posting. Put simply: without a significant backlog built up, I won't be able to reach the level of frequency I'd need to be recommended by the all-powerful algorithms to others (both here and on other platforms).

  The bottom line is that I likely won't start posting chapters until near the end of the year, unfortunately.

  As an additional point: these 2 books (Royal Blooded 4 and 5) will likely be the last ones that I post on this platform. While these websites will always hold a special place in my heart, the rampant piracy experienced here by other author friends of mine has caused me to rethink my publishing strategy somewhat. After that, I will be posting the new novel series exclusively on Patreon (with some short stories posted on a few other websites).

  The good news is that you will still be able to read for free over on my Patreon! I will be publishing Royal Blooded 4 & 5 there in addition to here, so now is a great time to start following me there. As an added bonus, I will be releasing chapters early for free and paid tier Patreon followers – so now is as good a time as ever to start following me over there!
