I BREATHED BATEDLY, as I blinked, trying to process what just happened. I faltered. Realizing that I wasn't the one heavily breathing, something else was. I began to fret recalling that shadow, that left that watch onward to my ceiling.
I quietly backed away to the drawers attached to my bed, slowly opening the first drawer, I flinched to the hearing of groans, they were coming from my floor. My hand searched for my flashlight, I felt it, it was at the left side, I took it out, then turned it on, as I glazed it to where I heard the sounds come from.
I noticed my hand begin to shake as I flashed it, peering gingerly at the spot, I had no idea of what it was but I was already breaking into a cold sweat, fortunately all I saw was the watch, it wasn't broken, nor did it even have a single crack, it was as good as it came.
I was staring at it, when my lights sparked alittle before they flickered back on, I looked up to my ceiling recalling everything what happened several minutes ago. I looked back down expecting to find the watch but instead what's infront of it, I saw these eyes- these huge violet eyes. I hesitated for a second.
My mind trying to acknowledge this moment, what I stared at was some creature, it was a foot tall, with large ears, it appeared to be covered in the darkest grey fur, standing upright, on its little feet, it had a round flat head, literal buttonish dark pinkish nostrils, large odd doll deep, violet eyes, if I didn't know better, I'd say it was some animated realistic. . Rabbit.
We were actually staring at each other, I thought at first it wasn't real, some toy perhaps, that mysteriously came out of nowhere, I had my finger wrapped around that. I tilted my head to examine its side view, it imitated me and did the exact same thing. I was stun, ? I tried to conjecture, where it came from. Wondering if the sounds I heard came from it. It was a suspicious looking little creature.
''What are you?'' I whispered to myself, trying to identify it, I'd never seen anything like it.
''I'm a Lordiranie, mate.'' It answered me! It spoke and you know what. . . . It's voice it was unbelievable, you'd think such a little creature'd have, I don't know a cute little voice but it's was bass deep with a strong depth and was it actually ? I couldn't believe it! My mouth dropped open. It was rhetorically asked, I didn't think of receiving an answer.
''Did you just. . . . Talk. . .?'' I questioned again, rhetorically, more flustered than before.
Only it didn't answer me this time, it more of ignored me then just looked around, curiously as I observed it.
''Where am I?'' It asked, I just stared at it as well, although I was really lost, still trying to wrap my head on ? How was that even possible? It spoke fluent English better than Cosmon had ever spoken.
''Boy, Do you know where we are or are you just as clueless, as gulddon in it's own slime?''
I didn't answer that either, I was too baffled about a creature talking to me. Where'd it come from?
''Are ya deaf boy, I just asked you a question, where am I?'' It asked again, kind of grimly this time, it got on its little paws and started to hop, it hopped all the way to my bed, as it's bushy eye brows made a furrow, I watched it incredulously as it hit its dead end, it was an awkward moment, deadpanned, but I couldn't help but chuckle.
It looked incredibly silly, I stared at it wondering where it was heading to? I almost felt the urge to pick it up, but that was until It suddenly, took one large hop and it was at the top. Taken by Aback, I began to fidget as I backed away little.
''Hey stay back! Don't come any further!'' I floundered.
''Mate, calm down, I just want to talk, know where I am?'' It sounded like it was trying to finalize something, reassuringly, but its little expression switched, It this time looked around me suspiciously. ''Boy, where's your Regem?''
And I just stared it once more, even if I wanted to answer, I was clueless of what it just asked. My hand slowly moved without its notice to the last pillow on my bed ready to hit it if it tried to get any closer then attack me.
''You don't say much, do you?'' It said as it got closer, and I panicked, it might have been little but I wasn't taking any chances, I grabbed my pillow, then smacked it on it but it hopped out of my pillow's touch in the nick of time.
''Eh mate, whar you doin'?'' It complained, it began moving in some zigzag pattern, it seemed to be using some tactic to come as quick as it could toward me and to avoid being hit, I was jittery as I began, smacking every where I saw it hop, I missed it every time, it was shockingly quick, but I had an advantage of being bigger than it, which also provided a much better viewpoint for me than it, I got it as I clamped the pillow over it during its turn, I exhaled in relief.
I wanted to cup it into my pillow then toss it into one of my drawers, before I found exactly what to do with it, but abruptedly my pillow started to shake, as it moved frantically, I wasn't sure what was going on but it appeared to be stronger than me, my pillow started to grow, only it wasn't my pillow getting larger it was that creature, it seemed to be not only getting stronger but increasing in size to a point I could no longer hold it off, I ended up falling off my bed as I stared at it, increase to the size of a grizzly bear.
My mouth went bone dry. Breaking into a cold sweat just staring at it. My head still stuck on it being a little rabbit, but now it was the size of a full grown large grizzly bear, I thought what where the chances I was still sleeping, this was still night, I was just dreaming like I always did. My thinking time was over, I saw its eyes drift off from its huge feet to me.
Our eyes met, and I felt a horrid apprehensive feeling go down my spine, that look it was giving me was filled with all sorts of displeasure, but focused on one- . I saw its paw move coming over to my side, if this was a dream I'd awake eventually like what happened in the morning, I also remembered that my current dreams were constantly built on suffocating me, and this gigantic rabbit was going to crash me under its paw.
I saw how the tables turned on me, I hesitated, hazily looking around to where to hide, although under my bed was my first choice. Without a single second lost, I dove under my bed all jittery. I saw its paw reach to where I was lying, I shut my eyes, feeling the air in my lungs escape, the harsh burn of anticipation and physical tension from my dive under here felt even more excruciating.

But it quickly dissolved as it came, when I heard motions coming from above me, it appeared to be trying to get off my bed and when it did, I felt everything in me go numb, I looked at its huge feet, as I sunk severely my teeth into my lower quivering lip. I heard static movements, as I began to think of my next hidding spot, it was probably best to get out of my room. And call animal control, inform them about the beast that came out of hell knew where.
I was caught up in my thoughts, picturing all of this surrealism was all in my head, I was just dreaming, none of it was real, they couldn't be a colossal rabbit talking and getting prepared to murder me, I mean that was too surreal to comprehend, but Every single aspect of this entire moment felt Real. My mind refused to consider this Not to be real, frankly because I had no idea, what'd I do if it was, I was losing my mind every second, I then realized that it got alot whole darker under there, and when I looked up I froze. I didn't blink as I stared at a huge violet eye watching me.
I moved and I ended up hitting my head under my bed, I groaned alittle as I quickly got out of my bed backwards. It moved as well, and once again our eyes met, but I immediately took off, slid the closest door open, which was the door adjacent to my rooms, it led to my bathroom and closet room, I shut the door behind me, as I raced into my closet to search for anything that I could use to hold down that door, but unfortunately they was nothing that was strong enough to hold down that door, I fell back at my closet door, my hand fell down at the knob, as I locked it.
I shut my eyes, taking my first breath before mentally, trying not to kick myself, asking myself why didn't I head for my entrance door but instead I chose my dead end, all because I panicked. Was that always my reason of everything I did wrong?
As I waited there, I noticed how quiet it was, almost like it was just me, it seemed like the creature didn't follow me it was still in my room, a thought crossed my mind that it probably thought I took off, outside. So I took the chance that I was safe in here for- I didn't know. Maybe before either one of us tried to get out, me to the outside and it in here to get me, for trying to capture it, it probably thought I was going to kill it.
I tried analyzing everything thing that just happened, what it was talking about, it consistently inquired on its where abouts, I recalled it being shocked when it asked me where something called a Regem was? And when I inquired about what it was, it didn't say it was a rabbit, probably because they didn't think they were rabbits either, maybe they had their own term, I had forgotten what it called itself.
I crunched down, as I wondered what I had gotten myself into. Talking animal, that resembled a rabbit but didn't act like one, very different from my prior dream, they weren't any creatures present, an eerie surreal watch? Granpa's note? Grandpa's Alive and trying to kill me, Branden's actually an impassive ass okay, that I already knew but our dumb fight, my near suspension, ultimately Dad and I's argument, all in one day.
I took another breath first to calm myself because I felt like was going to explode with everthing that just happened, when I thought everything through meticulously it hurt and scalded me with multiple battering emotions, and I felt myself dulling into a panic attack, figuratively my lungs were in flames and I desperately needed fresh air, to harsh this agonizing effect, I shut my eyes tightly it left soft pain humming behind them with a bank of resounds jutting in my ears, pleading with myself to not make any noises, to reduce the loudness of my heavy breathing, and so I languidly took in breath, one at a time, slower than the last until, I tamed my breath and my eyes reluctantly drew opened. Snippets of my breath still rose but in a more quiet tone and I tried to swallow a little relieved but my throat was just as dry as my mouth. Curled my lips apart, cringing but my troubling frame still hurtled at the door, slammed to it like I were it's craved in sculpture and like the bloody door wasn't even locked but I was skeptic if this pathetic door could stop that creature.
I Threaded my thoughts for a quick new plan, pondering the simplicities and general facts, thinking that all species shared similar characteristics, like one of the basics, they all naturally feed, perhaps they all rested as well. I thought that once it fell asleep, I was going to sneak out of my room and get Dad in here to see that creature, I couldn't even begin to imagine what look he'd have on.
I thought of calling someone maybe even Dad just before this but I had no idea where my iPhone was, right after that conversation with Tino, I put it down to look for Federico's number that which I unfortunately stopped looking for, right after I heard Dad's car drive through the gates.
I began to wonder what'd Dad tell me, when I'd tell him about that creature, I thought of how he probably wouldn't believe me, he'd think this was some lame attempt to try and get his attention. I wondered if he'd even come with me to see it, I began to suppose next, I supposed that all this happened after that eccentric watch did all that performance, I wondered if it started all this, maybe that creature came from that watch, like some genie type of crazy.
I felt so stupid considering all of that as a possibility, but after everything that had been going on I was willing to believe, the constrast here was that the watch was the somewhat lamp, I merely just touched it not rubbed it, and that creature was the . . . Genie?
Wasn't it supposed to be blue, I regarded recalling that Disney story, but that genie was much friendlier, right? Whatever, I crossed that out more of pocketed in a lower drawer. Here came my alternative reason, my Grandpa was a warlock, he practiced black magic and sent me this watch so I'd be eaten by that creature and used as some ritual sacrifice, and that note was some distraction to make an idiot believe he was actually protecting when he was actually the one I needed the protecting from, I was sure to go with my second option.
Why would a man whose never met me before try to protect me from what? Himself? Out of everything I read in that strange note, I was struck on the '' what exactly- the sacrificing, that was it. Because none of it else made any sense, especially the so called apology part.
I had this wild thought, as I thought all this creepy stuff came from that watch what if I was to break the watch, was it a guarantee that all of it would automatically leave, either that or I just wait to wake up again whenever that was going to happen. That didn't sound like an option, more of a plan of hidding from it all and doing absolutely nothing but waiting. I mean what if I never woke up? That obviously meant I'd be waiting forever, or probably before someone came to check up on me.
That didn't sit right with me, I was going with plan A and trying this out, even if it killed me, at least I'd die knowing I tried. But the first thing that was at the top of my list was to wait for my coast to be clear, a sleeping creature then I'd make my way to my room, and get a hold of that watch and execute my plan, like that wasn't weird enough.
I remembered seeing the watch right where it descended after its grand display, and when I got out of under my bed I noticed it was still there, I hoped that creature hadn't done anything with it.
My eyes stared at my shoe rack, my legs felt wobbly and numb tired of standing against the door like a paranoid gurad as the fear seemed to waver a little so did my legs, I slowly cramped down and sat instead at the door my eyes began to mirror my legs, they felt alot heavy, I instantly smacked the side of my face to wake me up, I was not to even think of sleeping, I wondered how it was possible for my mind to even think of sleeping when that creature had probably the same plan as me to end me when it thought I was asleep it'd come in and do its bidding, I wasn't sure what more crazy abilities it possessed.
I stayed up for the next seven minutes before I found myself dozing, when I briefly shut my eyes, I firstly, saw these blue eyes, the palest I had ever seen, the were still at first until they started to shake, and I saw them drift further and further. To a point, where I could finally see whom they belong to.
Her dark maroon puffy curly locks were tied into one band, but strands of them stretched at the sides of her angelic face. She was staring, at me I presumed. She was in different forest this time, it had all sorts of strange wild flowers blooming out, it looked like the prime of spring.
Her hand moved and she looked like she was reaching out for me, her rosy lips stretched a smile, warm and lovely, she looked so delighted. But where she stood, the ground it seemed to darken, I saw the flowers drop, like some virus that spread throughout the field destroying all the flowers- drying them up and leaving them lifeless until the whole field looked like a wildfire had hit it, black ash was left as a residual on the ground now.
Before I allowed my head to comprehend, my gaze averted back at the girl, she didn't look like herself, she looked like a fading away version of herself, with her hair even more darker than I recalled, her skin paler as well than before, sickening white, around her body were these dark blue~ purple veins that crept up across her face, and I noticed her eyes were shut, when she opened them they had turned black.
Her mouth opened, and I swore her screams, made me recoil, I felt this fear that I had never felt, and staring at her only made things worse. Everytime I saw her she was in an even more worser stage. I shut my eyes, trying to send her away, to help her in a way only I knew I could, through my mind, I didn't know why I wanted to her help her, pity perhaps, when I opened my eyes to see her again, all I saw was her faint force, with the speed of the blink of an eye, she screeched toward me, and that was all I saw before everything went dark.
I felt my head hit the something hard and solid, my eyes instantly opened. My head hurt, I held my head, sitting up, my head had some how got to the floor, it felt like I was only out for a minute, but I wasn't sure how long it had really been, but I knew how I could tell just how long I had been out.
I got up as I unlocked my door as quietly as I could, I peeked outside left then right to make sure that that creature hadn't found it's way in, I then slid it open, and walked out. As quiet as a mouse, I walked into my bathroom, walked to my window, I could see dim light, in the clouds, the sky becoming bright, it was morning, five probably.
I swore I could kick myself. I had been asleep for that long, how could I allow myself to get so lost in sleep, I was weary alright, but with that creature around, I couldn't believe. I turned around, thinking it was now or never that creature I presumed by now was asleep.
