  It took us a few days, but we found a way to the Warrens at last. The Skavens’ ingenuity and use of old tech is admirable. This seemingly haphazard arrangement of lights evokes an aesthetic I can’t quite put a name to; I only wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

  But we shouldn’t, not after what the elders told us.

  Our first contact with I’Krit and K’Tren told us all we needed to know about the Skaven’s situation; this meeting merely confirmed just how dire it was. It seemed the Skaven got more out of us than we did: A call for a paradigm shift and a contact to aid with that. Though, I didn’t realie I’Krit was more than a mere scout. K’Tren really does have his hands full with the little one.

  With our meeting with the Mermetas around the corner, I wonder how wise it would be to have the one who have killed one of their own along for the ride. That being said, I trust Cee to not say too much.

  Lord Jesus Christ, please continue to look after us as we march on to resolve this conflict.

  By the intercession of the Saints and Your Mother Mary, give us the courage to end this without any more innocent bloodshed, even if it is at the cost of our own lives.
