Celebration IV - The colorful chaos

Two's plan was clear: three attackers for each owner of a legendary weapon that contained a Crystal. While Flame fought Fifty Six and the others and while the leader of Horwann's army had a dangerous encounter with Two, the ruler of the brown Crystal kingdom fought for his life.

Damn it! I have to help Horwann, that Two is definitely going to be very dangerous. - The ruler of the brown Crystal kingdom - Bowler, ran towards the newly created bubble. The brown and black Crystal kingdoms have the best of relations, which is why Bowler immediately ran to Horwann's aid.

Before Bowler could reach the bubble separating Horwann from the chaos of the celebration, he was kicked in the face by a flying man. Bowler quickly recovered and wanted to attack him but another man came running at him from the other side, spewing fire.

Bowler saw both of them attacking him and slammed his hammer into the ground. The impact shattered the ground beneath their feet and threw them back. Bowler didn't hesitate and ran towards the flying man.

The brown Crystal can be very powerful, but it can also be very weak. If the user is on solid ground, the Crystal has many uses because the power of the brown Crystal is to reshape the ground. The brown Crystal gives the user the power to control the ground to a certain extent, which is why the Crystal is practically useless when the user is in the air. The last fact about the Crystal is that its user has twice as much strength as they would without the Crystal. This fact is a very good thing for the user because the legendary weapon that helps control the Crystal is a heavy war hammer.

Bowler wanted to hit the flying man in the head, but the man quickly recovered and tried to fly away from Bowler. Bowler wouldn't let that happen, so he placed his hammer on the ground and created a wall that the man crashed into with his head, knocking him unconscious.

"Nice job showing Fifteen who's boss, but unfortunately, this is where the fun ends for you..." - Said a new person running onto the scene towards Bowler. Bowler tried to stop him by creating a stone wall in his path. Bowler's eyes widened when he saw the wall crumble as soon as the man touched it.

"Hello, I'm Nine... your worst nightmare!"

Terrified, Bowler slammed his hammer on the ground again, this time in an attempt at a more coordinated attack. The ground around Nine began to shatter and explode under his feet due to the pressure created by the brown Crystal.

Even though a few stones flying through the air from the large impact hit Nine, she managed to dodge every stronger attack... or destroy it with a gentle touch.

Nine approached Bowler, and Bowler tried to hit her with his hammer. Nine caught the hammer just before it hit her head, causing a quarter of the hammer head to break off.

This is... crazy! If I hadn't managed to move the hammer away the second Nine touched it, one of the legendary weapons would have been destroyed. This person can most likely kill anyone she touches... I have to give it my all to stop her!!

After Bowler quickly dodged Nine, Nine lunged at Bowler for another attack. Bowler managed to place the rest of the hammer on the ground, which created a pillar under Bowler that began to grow and grow into the air. Nine planned to touch the pillar to destroy it, however at that moment Bowler made another move and at full speed expanded the column sideways and in one specific place where Nine was standing, hitting her due to the element of surprise.

The column created from a pillar to strike Nine, continued to grow in one direction, dragging Nine along the ground. Bowler jumped off the pillar and scraped his hammer against it. This allowed Bowler to technically maintain contact with the ground and create a wall in the path of the column that was dragging Nine along the ground.

Just before the impact which would have certainly crushed Nine, she managed to destroy the ground beneath her, allowing her to bury herself in it.

Bowler slowed his landing by creating a "slide" on which he safely slid to the ground.

As for the surroundings, despite Bowler destroying about one-eighth of the royal court, no one else was injured because Bowler specifically targeted only Nine.

A man with the power to breathe fire began approaching Bowler but before he reached him, another member of Two's group crashed into him at full speed.

Wind IV, ruler of the kingdom of white Crystal, flew over to Bowler - "Oh, I'm sorry, I accidentally ruined your fun."

Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.

"Don't worry Wind, I'm really not taking this as fun. These are pests... pests we need to get rid of as quickly as possible. And you helped me with that.''

''Oh, I'm starting to blush! So tell me, what's your situation?''

"Three members of Two's group attacked me." - Bowler slammed his hammer on the ground which lead to the ground under Fifteen and the person which was able to breeth fire disintegrating and exploding, which finished them off and as a cherry on top, it also took out the victim of Wind laying on the person which was able to breeth fire. ''But I've already eliminated two.''

''Nice! I'm in a similar situation. I also had three attackers and thanks to your thumping on the ground, two of them were eliminated as well. But the last one that remains is very powerful. It occurred to me that the strength of these special individuals is determined by the number burned into their hand and their names. So Two is the strongest... beside One, of course. And someone like Ninety nine will be among the weakest. The two I defeated were Eighty three and Ninety six. The third one sent against me has the number eight burned into his hand and my wind attacks have almost no effect on him.''

Wind IV uses the chain scythes mentioned earlier, a legendary weapon controlled by the white Crystal...or rather Crystals in the case of the white Crystal. White Crystal has the power to control the wind, which is why it is most powerful in the north where the wind is strongest. The power to control the wind allows user to fly through the air and perform powerful wind attacks. The iconic attack for the white Crystal is the "suffocation", which is an attack where the Crystal user begins to push wind onto the victim from all sides, leading to the complete destruction of the victim's body... Wind used this attack to defeat one of the attackers.

Nine cracked the ground beneath Wind and Bowler and jumped back onto the scene ready to finish her task.. to get the brown Crystal. Unfortunately for Nine Bowler and Wind already had a clear plan in their minds on how to defeat the pest. Wind threw a scythe into Nine's hand and with the power of wind pressure, she exploded her's hand. Bowler lunged at Eight, shaking the ground beneath his feet which disoriented him, giving Bowler a chance to hit him with his hammer. Bowler's attack truly hit and Eight spat up blood which might seem like a good result from Bowler's attack, but most people would have been killed by that attack thanks to Bowler's super strength...Bowler realized that Eight's ability is super endurance...but that meant Bowler was the worst opponent for Eight because Bowler's attacks are the strongest.

When it looked like Nine and Eight were about to be defeated, they saw a very crazy event happening nearby which made them start running toward the portal. Nine reached his remaining hand toward the ground and destroyed all the earth beneath Wind. It wasn't a problem for Wind because she could fly, however the destruction of the land gave Nine enough time to escape. Eight also escaped because despite Bowler sending several of his attacks at him, Eight was able to ignore them enough to barely make it into the portal and get away.

Fire, wind, and earth. These rulers had very interesting battles against members of Two's group and despite some losses, the victory was on the side of the rulers because the Crystals were not stolen. As for the other battles... they didn't fare so well.

At the moment the purple portals opened, two members of Two's group attacked the ruler of the blue crystal... Aqua. The first one tried to hit him with an axe, but Aqua blocked the attack with his trident. Aqua had no idea that the ability of the man whose attack he blocked was a double impact, meaning that as soon as the axe met Aqua's trident, a second attack followed, giving the axe enough striking force to knock Aqua to the ground.

The blue Crystal can control water. As mentioned earlier, the legendary weapon that helps control the Blue Crystal is a trident. The blue Crystal has perhaps the most abilities of all the Crystals. Beside using water as a firepower or reforming water, the user can also breathe and swim faster underwater. The most interesting ability of the Blue Crystal is "permeability", this ability allows the user to be invulnerable because any attack passes right through them. However when the user is in a permeability state they cannot move. That said, an interesting fact is that only a few users of the nlue Crystal have unlocked this ability... like Aqua.

A man with an axe who had the number sixty one burned into his hand lunged at Aqua, ready to strike him in the head with the axe. Aqua activated the permeability and the axe went through Aqua. As soon as the surprised Sixty one raised his axe, Aqua took his trident and pierced his head with it.

At that moment a person with the number seven burned into their hand started running toward Aqua. Based on how fast he was running, Aqua realized that his abilities would be something like super strength or super speed which is why Aqua decided to take this fight to a more advantageous location for himself.

An interesting thing about Crystals is that they can store a lot of energy within themselves. Thanks to that energy, for example the user of the red Crystal can use fire, even when there is no fire nearby. It's like an archer's quiver... a quiver might hold thirty arrows, however once the archer shoots them all, the archer can't shoot anymore until they return to base and replenish their arrows. Such mentioned users of the red Crystal don't have to worry about this, because when they shoot fire, they set the surroundings ablaze which is equivalent to more fire. However for the blue Crystal user it's a different scenario. When the user's energy stored in the blue Crystal runs out, they can't use water attacks until they replenish it by reaching the nearest water source... which is why battles in the sea or in the ocean are practically a guarantyd win for the blue Crystal user. And fortunately for Aqua, the royal garden is about a hundred steps from the coast.

Aqua trapped Seven in a water ball he created around him and then formed a small wave beneath himself, which sped up his journey into the sea. The water ball had no effect on Seven but as soon as Aqua got Seven and himself into the sea, Seven's life was coming to an end... or at least that's what Aqua thought. Oh dear... if only he knew what Two had prepared for him...
