  Aldrich Isengrund page updates:

Master of the Astronomicon - Title given to Aldrich by House Ortellius. "I'm not who you think I am, Lady Fyona," Aldrich says. "I commend you on your talent for recognising me. It is by the Emperor's grace and power that a part of me fuels the Astronomicon. I am no avatar of His, and He still burns upon the Golden Throne, keeping the Enemies of Man at bay. At best, I have his attention when He has a task for me, much like your own duties as you guide Petitor Veritas and His most Holy Inquisition from one trouble to another. We are all equal in the eyes of the Emperor." I slowly approach Fyona and help the stubborn woman to her feet, healing her with my biomancy as I do so, "There is no need for us to kneel before each other." --- The souls are from Aldrich's Warp Tap that the Emperor has claimed. (c0178, c0228)

  - The Emperor claims the Liber Heresius. Aldrich's Warp Tap is destroyed. (c0229)

We will also aid you one time, in battle only, against a foe you cannot defeat alone. Time Frame: 857-957.M41 Marwolv Date (c0160)

  Blessings and Castigations page updates:

  Characters and Groups page updates:

Alpia Isengrund --- Aldrich watches Alpia lightly tug her bond with the Emperor with a request for a small mote of energy to train with. The connection blazes to life, giving her far more than she requests, and her whole body is covered with golden flames. (c0221) --- Power continues to build within Alpia rapidly, and she screams as her eyes burn out of her sockets and two wings burst from her back. One wing is heavy with gold-tinted, white, organic feathers, and the other is silver, metallic feathers gleaming with runes. Whatever those two fuckwits are up to doesn't end there, though, as Alpia starts to grow, shooting up to four metres tall, despite the rigid nature of her Black Skeleton. Her body continues to change, taking on an uncanny beauty and perfection, partly supported by a growing aura of devotion and authority that Aldrich is quick to shrug off, bringing her terrified face to the fore. Slowly, the power being pushed into her starts to trail off. (c0222) --- Alpia has the following abilities: aura of religious epiphany, technopathy, instinctual use of machines, matter manipulation, instinctual repair of mechanical devices, suppress corruption, absorb wings,

  Fleet Information page updates:

Avenger-Class Grand Cruiser --- Promised for healing a maximum of 2,000 House Ortelius navigators. (c0228) --- The location is unknown, and it is in poor condition.

Stars, Planets, and Stations page updates:

Chorda --- Chorda is a hidden Relic World in Jericho Reach. It is not well known, and you will not find it on any map or document, as it cannot be recorded beyond its name, classification, and purpose. One can only describe it to others by speaking. It is most disturbing to see one's ink run upon a page, or letters scramble on a dataslate, even as you type them. A Relic World is a world with an active, independent relic from the Dark Age of Technology, or Xenos origin, that is not and cannot be controlled by Humanity or any other faction. The Warp Gates to Jericho Reach would be an example of an uncontrollable, active relic. Chorda is a gas giant in the habitable zone of its star. A Void Shield and a Gellar Shield of immense strength surround the whole planet.

There are no other planets, moons, or asteroids in the system. Even the Oort Cloud is missing. All have likely been collected and turned into an array of defensive satellites that would make an Ork blush, as well as thousands of domed, floating islands the size of continents, or even whole worlds. Chorda is a living repository of plants from around the galaxy. The intelligence controlling the world, believed to be a rogue STC or AI of some kind, will provide the seeds and other samples of plants required to terraform a world or restore a damaged biosphere, along with its knowledge of the provided plants and how to use them. This is not a free service. One must offer resources to trade, and although it is not possible to communicate with the controlling intelligence, there is a station on the edge of the system where one can dock. The station is minimal, with no services of any kind save for a single cogitator. When one uploads a list of resources and data to the cogitator, they will be offered several points with which to trade. The controlling intelligence is more generous if you include a well-thought-out plan for how you intend to use its samples and data. It also values flora and symbiotic fauna, ensuring that it does not exhaust its resources.

STCs sometimes work, but usually have a value of zero. The same goes for modified organisms. There are also some hidden criteria we are unaware of. Some people, Chorda refuses to trade with, and we are unsure why. Attempting to deceive the machine or damaging the station and cogitator will result in a disproportionate response that matches the nature of the offence. It is not always clear what sets it off, either, so if you do visit, be forthright and respectful. It is also expensive, so don't bother turning up with anything less than a Universe Class vessel stuffed with refined elements—preferably rare ones.
