As my body smashed against the wall, I heard my ribs crack.
"Akh!"
I coughed up blood as I awkwardly tried to rise to my feet.
My mode flickered as I failed to keep my concentration, but sheer adrenaline allowed me to ignore the burning pain which invaded my body.
The orc was already rapidly approaching me, his blasted arm almost fully regenerated.
'Fuck, he already picked up his weapon?'
Since his right arm was still regenerating, he held his axe in his left.
I could only hope that he was less proficient in wielding his weapon in the opposite hand.
Dragging myself off the floor, I randomly blasted several more bullets into the ceiling.
I wasn't sure if it'd do me any good, but I needed all the time I could get.
Crash!
Several stalactites fell, creating a far thicker dust cloud than before. I held my arm against my mouth and started running again.
Whilst running, I did my best to pay attention to the sounds of the orc; the big bastard was naturally loud, every step he took shook the ground, and so it was easy to keep track of his position.
"This trick won't work again, fool!"
I ignored his insults and began creating another full power bullet.
What I was about to do was something new, but the bullet variations I had been using had already proven ineffective.
Usually, when deciding the second layer adjective for my bullet I would go with either rifling to increase speed and precision or explosiveness, to well... cause an explosion.
But now, I was creating an adjective I had never used before on the fly.
With a great swing, the orc once again cleared the cloud of dust.

'So he's using martial techniques...'
The reason he was able to completely deal with the dust was not because of his sheer strength, no, it was because he had some affinity to the wind element, channeling it into his weapon to disperse the dust cloud.
Regardless, that distraction had given me enough time to use something new.
"Fiery Shrapnel Bullet."
A stream of five bullets exploded from the magic circle on my finger, with me aiming them at each of his limbs, with the first going to his head.
Naturally, he moved to hold his axe to cover his face, as that was his 'weak point'.
But what was my speciality supposed to be?
I am overwhelming.
'Let's see how well your regeneration keeps up, asshole.'
As my bullets pierced his flesh, rather than shooting straight through, they paused.
And then exploded, whilst burrowed inside his body.
I had no idea of just how potent an orc's regeneration was supposed to be, but there was no way this wouldn’t harm him.
“Argh!”
The orc roared in pain, and I grimaced whilst staring at his body.
It was completely mangled by the shrapnel shot I had used; his insides were literally spilling out as his stomach had been injured.
But even then, I could see the injuries regenerating.
“Do you not run out of energy!?”
I shouted out in frustration at the orc.
I wasn’t sure if he could hear me, seeing as he was currently in pain.
I took a step back in fear as the orc warrior regained his bearing, but I quickly began casting more bullets.
‘He’s slowing down.’
Unlike me, it seemed the orc didn’t have infinite energy, and so being forced to regenerate so many times had caused him to weaken.
For a moment, I thought I had won, as the Orc continued to slow down whilst moving towards me.
His body continued to fall apart as my attacks tore through his flesh, even though he continued guarding his face, his arms and legs were damn close to falling off.
“Hraaaagh!”
The orc roared defiantly, and with that, the grey mana representing wind gathered around him, causing him to speed up even whilst in tatters.
“Fuck, it, come on!”
There was no chance I’d be able to outrun him, so I recklessly charged forward whilst rapidly firing dozens of bullets.
Within seconds, we came face to face, and I took my chance.
He had to stop guarding his face when he attacked me, so that would have to be my opportunity.
And it came.
Boom!
The Orc’s head exploded as he swung his axe towards me…
But there was no chance that I’d be able to dodge in time, especially when it had been enhanced by wind.
I unnaturally bent my body, trying my absolute hardest to avoid the axe, but I could only move so far.
Slice!
My hand came clean off.
