As much as Goji has adapted surprisingly well to her body, she has to admit her mentality hasn't changed much ; her thoughts are still those of the monsters that dwarfed buildings, erased mountains, and destroyed titans... the body of one that can survive a nuclear bomb, the attack of a three-headed dragon, or the use of an oxygen destroyer... And because of that, she has become a victim of her own mentality . She has lost the upper hand due to her ck of a clear strategy, convincing herself she can walk it off... The attacks of this monster, though they cause no lingering damage, have left her tired mentally and physically. The constant regeneration from burning, a type of damage more difficult to heal than a normal wound, has made her senses slower... As she looks up at this monster in front of her, she is clear that it was a pn... to chip away at her strength, and looking at the corpses around the pce and the suspicious pool of blood under her feet, it is very likely they pn to make her a sacrifice...
-*Sigh* This... is so fucking... frustrating ... *She sighs and takes a deep breath as she moves her hands to her face ; the clear problem with her mentality has come with consequences that she cannot deny*-any words, demon? *She asks the monster in front of her, with the background chants of the volcanic monsters . Though that's the only sound heard , the Balrog only looks down at her and takes some steps back. Slowly, it moves its hand, and seemingly from the air, a bzing sword appears, appropriate for its size as it is a bit taller than Goji herself . The wait has ended as Goji takes some steps back and puts herself in an appropriate position, looking at the demon in front of her . The standoff continues as the chants grow louder, and when the chants reach their peak intensity , the Balrog makes the first move . It uses its rger body, taking some steps to have Goji in range, and with a movement of its arm, the sword makes an arc towards Goji , the fmes emanating an oppressive heat she feels in the air . She then tries to deflect the sword with the back of her hand like she did with the spears, but to no avail, as the blunt force sends her flying away, her arm broken only to be repaired. But contrary to normal, she isn't happy; she lets out a frustrated roar . She has been wrong again . She takes deep breaths as the Balrog comes closer again . She has to learn ; she has to adapt, or she will die here . She isn't the towering monster ; she isn't capable of destroying buildings with one stomp or taking a pne in her hand . She closes her eyes ; she doesn't need them to know how much time she has, and as she exhales one st time, her tail rexes behind her . The heat of the sword is coming again, and she opens her eyes . She moves towards the Balrog and evades the sword , rolling under the swing . She quickly composes herself and moves forward. The Balrog moves too, making the sword transform into a whip and attacking towards Goji, using the remaining momentun of the swing...
Goji sees that moving to the side, rolling without grace through the blood, she moves forward . As she comes close enough, she feels the heat of the whip disappear; the monster has deemed the distance too short . The battle has evolved into one of fists and cws . She moves under the first jab and delivers a powerful uppercut to the head of the beast, making it take some steps back. She follows with two more jabs to the body, but they are blocked by one of the beast's arms, while the other swings towards her, sending her flying . The beast follows, using its powerful legs to hit its downed enemy, but with a quick movement from the ground, she rolls and evades the leg, deflecting it with her tail . She recomposes herself and takes some steps back. She doesn't guard herself in the moment as the beast decides not to follow... A standoff ensues as the chants continue. Mere moments ter, she is subjected to a barrage of fireballs from the Balrog. She moves with the agility of a smaller body , using her tail to change directions and jumping around as she gets closer . The barrage stops, but a swing of its arms tries to intercept Goji. She evades the swing, not by going under; with her momentum, she jumps onto the arms and from them to the head of the Balrog. As this one senses the weight, its temperature rises, causing its dark volcanic body to be illuminated from the interior with an intense red . Goji doesn't back down as she starts hitting the back of its head with her fists while her other arm maintains her anchor to the Balrog. As the burns don't work, it moves wildly around, trying to get her off. After some more punches and the Balrog's increasing movements and temperature, Goji is finally made to let go and goes down . But before she can touch the ground and relocate herself, her abdomen is subjected to intense pain as the tail of the beast whips her and sends her crashing to the ground, leaving her breathless. Before she can move , a stomp sends her back down with so much force that she throws up blood, and her body feels light... With pure instinct, she rolls to the side to evade another stomp but is sent flying by a kick anyway , gaining distance but at the cost of more damage...
The world goes dark for a moment until she hits the ground ; her body is in constant pain as much of it is burned, and her abdomen has been devastated . She throws up more blood, and with effort, she stands up, her body working overtime to regenerate her, but the effects are quite weak with so much being damaged . She looks to the Balrog, his head losing some parts of the stone that it is made of as her hits have made some effect . She feels pain but is working to maintain her consciousness. The Balrog starts walking towards her, slower, more cautiously; he is damaged but she is more . She stands in the same position, waiting to react, and as they are at close distance, the sword appears again . The battle starts again with an overhead strike towards Goji, with enough force to cut her in half. She moves to the side, evading the bde and climbs through the arms of the beast towards the back of his head . The temperature rises again and she can feel her skin burning . The Balrog tries to make her fall again, but Goji has a pn.
From the depths of this extinct volcano.......being witnessed by the monster at the gate.......avenging the headless corpses of heroes.....and through the red of the blood and fire.......a blue glow starts from the end of a tail....... The bdes of the queen start being tainted by blue......Then, to the horror of the enemies.....a sound new to the world is heard.....and the world is tainted blue......A head falls down in front of the pile of bodies......the headless corpse sitting above all, judging the monster as the fmes go extinct and the chants end.The only sound after is a roar that shakes the world.
