“That is who we have come to find” replied professor Yoshiaki
“Really?”
They both heard a sigh at that point
“I can’t stind him” Nobunaga said
The general grimaced when he heard that and the professor looked at him
“You know something?”
The general nodded “a little bit. Nothing for it, let’s not keep them waiting”
The professor looked at the general and he stared back before they both vanished from the void appearing in the room proper, both Nobunaga and Soham Sid were startled by their entrance at the same time.
“I can’t find him” Nobunaga repeated to professor Yoshiaki, he looked unsettled. “Every day, he draws aether from me and I try to track it but I can’t. The connection is obscured.”
Stolen novel; please report.
“But it happened on a different time yesterday?”
“Yes, it is never exactly the same time, but the end result is al ways the same. He is fighting and his location is being hidden from me.”
“General Ishaan, says he knows something, let’s hear him out.” Professor Yoshiaki told Nobunaga.
“I know nothing about that” general Altan began “what i do know is, he arrived here a few days ago and according to my sources, they believe he was taken the same day he came. We have confrimed he bought a plane ticket on that day, but never entered the plane. We have a few suspects for who is responsible and we believe a sage is involved and that should narrow it down even more. So, any ideas?.” General Altan finished and waited.
Nobunaga stared at him the horror growing on his face but he schooled it fast. At that moment there was a knock on the door and three men walked in, two saluted while the last man just watched.
“Thank you, first sergeant Darsh, that will be all” One of the two men in salute dropped his hand and walked out closing the door softly behind him before general Altan spoke again “At ease son, introduce your friend.”
“This is police inspector Aarav Karim Mutti, he is the detective in charge of the case.”
“When did you arrive in the city?”
“A few days ago, sir”
“I am to believe you came in with someone, a certain Mr. Zhao, is that right?”
“Yes, that is right”
