Sense

And so then the next few hours were spent doing various chores, and then Bun and I went to the food room to eat some lunch; and then after lunch we did more chores; and then after that we headed over to the library room to see what the library room was like…

It turned out that there was an impressive selection of books in the library room, and so before long Bun and I had each picked out a book to read, and then we began reading the books that we had chosen; and the book that I had chosen was a collection of short stories, and here is how the first short story in the book went:

“Once upon a time there was a train that was rolling along, and there were lots of passengers on that train…; and one of those passengers was a mouse named Speedy, and Speedy really liked being on the train because a cat named Meow who wanted to gobble her up didn’t know that she was on that train…

But then one day Meow happened to get onto that train, and so Speedy immediately! ran away from the train so that she wouldn’t be trapped on the train with Meow!…

Meow saw Speedy running away though, and so Meow ran away from the train too!; and Meow was confident that she’d gobble up Speedy within the next few minutes!…

Speedy then looked behind her and saw that Meow was chasing her, and she said, “Oh no!…

This is a nightmare!…” and then she saw a hole in the ground and dashed! into the hole!…

Then Meow soon reached the hole in the ground, and she was very frustrated that the hole was big enough for Speedy to fit through but wasn’t big enough for her to fit through!…; and so then Meow looked around to see if there was anybody nearby who might be able to help her catch Speedy, and then she saw that there was a dog nearby; and so then she said, “Hello!…

Can you please help me with something?…” and then the dog ran over to her; and then the dog said, “Hello!…

  I’m Wuff!…

And so what do you need help with?…” and then Meow said, “Hello, Wuff!…

I’m Meow!…; and I wanted to gobble up a mouse named Speedy, but then Speedy ran into that hole in the ground over there!…; and I know that dogs can be pretty good at digging sometimes, and so do you think that you could dig where that hole is so that we can make it big enough for me to fit through so that I can continue chasing after Speedy?…” and then Wuff said, “The person who lives inside of that hole in the ground is actually a snake named Slither; and he’s probably already gobbled up poor Speedy, to be honest…” and then Meow said, “But we don’t know that for sure…; correct?…” and then Wuff walked over to the hole, and then he spoke towards the hole and said, “Hey, Slither!…

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

Are you down there?…” and then a snake soon emerged from the hole and said, “Hello. Wuff!…

It’s so good to see you!” and then Wuff said, “It’s good to see you too, my friend!…

Oh!, and my new cat friend and I were wondering if you recently gobbled up a little mouse named Speedy who ran into the hole in the ground that you live inside of…; and so did you happen to gobble up that little mouse?…” and then Slither said, “I did indeed!…” and then Meow said, “Dammit!…

Well, I guess I’d better head back to the train then before it takes off…” and then Meow headed off towards the train; and then Wuff said, “Thanks for the information, Slither!…” and then Slither said, “You’re welcome, Wuff!…

And I hope that you have a good day!…” and then Wuff said, “Thanks!…

And I hope that you have a good day too!…” and then Wuff waved farewell to Slither and then ran off to get back to what he’d been doing before Meow had asked for his assistance; and then Slither went back inside of the hole in the ground, and then Speedy waved happily at Slither and said, “Welcome back, my friend!; and thanks for convincing Meow that she’ll never be able to gobble me up now!…” and then Slither said, “You’re welcome!, Speedy!…; and it is indeed very good that Meow won’t be bothering us anymore now!…” and then Slither and Speedy began playing some card games together while they ate some snacks and drank some drinks, and both of them were very confident that they’d live happily ever after and that Meow would never figure out that Slither had tricked her!…

But then, over on the train, Meow was grumbling about what had happened to another person who was on the train; and then that person told her that what she was saying didn’t make any sense because Slither ate eggs and never ate mice!…; and then Meow said, “But if that’s true then that means that Slither tricked me!, and so now Slither and Speedy are probably laughing at me right now!…” and then the person who she was talking to said, “Yup!…

That’s probably what’s happening!…” and then Meow said, “Well, that’s completely unacceptable!; and so that means that I’ll have to exit this train as soon as it slows down so that I can head back to them and teach them both a lesson that they won’t forget!…” but, unfortunately for Meow, a hawk who was nearby heard what Meow had just said; and that hawk happened to be friends with Slither, and so the hawk then quickly! flew! away from the train and towards where Slither lived; and then before long the hawk reached Slither’s abode, and then the hawk warned Slither and Speedy about what she had overheard Meow saying on the train; and then Slither and Speedy thanked the hawk for the information; and then Slither, Speedy, and the hawk began planning out what the best way to thwart Meow’s upcoming attack would be; and before long they had an excellent plan devised!…; and that plan was for Speedy and Slither to live near the tree where the hawk’s home was; and so then the 3 of them all headed over to the tree where the hawk’s home was at, and they were all feeling very confident that Meow would never discover where they were and that they would all live happily ever after!…
