Built within a living prism of crystal and stone, its towers bent light into invisible rainbows, casting them upon the misty forests below.
Students whispered it was alive — that the halls themselves shifted like a dream, re-shaping according to the emotions of those who walked within.
Inside, a chime echoed — soft, melodic, almost sentient.
“All first-year initiates, report to the Central Atrium.”
Lyra Solen adjusted the silver pin on her cloak and took a deep breath. The corridors gleamed under threads of radiant energy, flowing like veins of starlight. Beside her, Draven Veyl leaned against a railing, crimson eyes sharp as embers.
“Does it always feel like walking into another world?” Lyra asked quietly.
Draven’s smirk was faint. “If it doesn’t, you’re not meant to be here.”
The atrium spread before them — vast, circular, with a translucent ceiling that refracted light into endless shades. Students from every corner of the continent gathered, each wearing robes tinted by the faint color of their chosen hue.
At the center stood Headmistress Veyra Lys, her voice calm yet commanding:
“Welcome to Spectrum Academy — where color becomes power, and emotion becomes destiny.”
Around her floated six glowing spheres — fragments of pure light. Each represented a Division of Hue:

Cryalis – mastery of Frost
Zephyra – mastery of Storm
Pyrovia – mastery of Flame
Umbraeth – mastery of Shadow
Lyra felt a surge of warmth at her chest as one of the spheres pulsed gently — Luminara calling her name. Nearby, Seren, Eira, Riven, and Draven felt the same silent resonance, each sphere responding to their inner aura.
And high on a balcony, hidden by dim light, Nyra Vale watched them with quiet eyes — her violet hue flickering faintly.
The Headmistress continued:
“Beyond these six divisions lies the Vault of Echoes — a sealed chamber said to hold the Seventh Color, one that even I cannot reach.”
“You are not here to find it,” she said softly. “You are here to prove you’re worthy of even glimpsing its light.”
A hush spread.
Then, a voice broke through the silence — Riven’s, mischievous as ever.
“So… no pressure, right?”
The room burst into a wave of nervous laughter.
As the ceremony ended, Lyra looked up — through the crystal ceiling, at the fractured sky above. For a moment, she thought she saw a seventh streak of color dart across the horizon.
A color she couldn’t name.
The air shimmered. The Academy seemed to breathe.
