Rebecca Pov
I went to Tesco's after doing the night shift, (I promise that this is important to what I'm about to tell you), it was early Saturday morning, (again important for context), and honestly it was so I could actually wind down a bit before going home rather than actually needing a shop, (yes that sounds so stupid, but it's the truth).
I don't even remember what I was actually looking at, but I literally abandoned what I was looking at when I felt a tug on my uniform, and I came face to face with a random 2/3 year old little girl, (but as it turned out, not so random, but I didn't know that at the time).
"Hi, have you seen my Daddy?"
"I haven't seen him Darling, can you tell me what he looks like?"
"He's short and his hair is in his eyes"
To be fair to her, it did narrow down a lot of people in the shop, (and honestly quite descriptive for her age), so I helped her look for her Dad, as I would want someone to help my kids if they ever needed it, ya know, (though maybe you don't, I'm no expert on people).
Anyway we look through a couple of aisles, (it wasn't a massive supermarket, it was more like a corner shop, but work wasn't by Harry's shop so it was a different one), I see a man that fit the description but before I could even ask if he was her Dad, she ran up to him, I walked slowly behind her in case she was mistaken.
"Daddy!"
"Rowan where were you?"

"I dunno, I got lost, this really nice lady helped me find you again"
So I don't know who I was expecting to be looking at when he turned around, but I wasn't expecting him to be Teddy, (though she was his mini me at that age, so it shouldn't have been a surprise to me), he copped it was me almost immediately after he finished turning around.
"Aunt Rebecca?"
"Yeah that's me"
"I thought I was really sleep deprived when I saw ya"
"That's fair, how long have you been here?"
So I could've worded that better, but I also wasn't long finished an 8 hour night shift, so my brain did feel just a little scrambled at this point, (honestly I'm surprised I remember as much as I do about that day if I'm being completely honest here).
"We've been here since August"
"How have you been finding it here?"
"People are really friendly, is that normal?"
"It's normal up north, you're used to how people are in London"
"That's probably true, does it ever feel any less weird?"
"It took me a while, but it's now my norm, I actually don't think I could deal with how people are in London now"
Yes I did feel a little old once I had fully processed that Teddy was living in Manchester with his kid, especially because that would've made me a great Aunt, but honestly Teddy probably wasn't the first of my siblings kids to become a parent, he was just the one that I first saw with a kid.
"Daddy are we almost done?"
"Yeah Baby, we're almost done, I'm sorry-"
"Don't even worry about it, I'm surprised Levi's not rang me yet to see if I got lost from work, take your kid home, she's probably just a little clingy after being lost"
"Thank you by way, I was scared when I couldn't find her"
"You're welcome, do you still have my number?"
"It's still the same one?"
"Oh yeah, once Dad memorised it, it's hard to want to change it"
"Yeah I have it still"
So I then walked home, (I can't drive and if I'm being honest, it should stay that way, I would be a liability on the road), it wasn't an awfully long walk back home, though knowing Levi, he'd do it in half the time as he has the map of Manchester memorised in his head, (I don't know if that's normal or not as I'm directionally incorrect).
Anyway when I got home, Levi was waiting for me, (the kids were still asleep, so he was probably just taking the opportunity to not do anything, which was fair at the time), I couldn’t tell wether he hadn’t slept or if he had been awake for ages, (Levi was getting better at his poker face).
"How was work?"
"Nobody died"
"That’s always a bonus"
"I bumped into Teddy today"
"Your nephew?"
"That is the only Teddy that we both know"
"Who’s he visiting?"
"He’s not visiting, he moved up here to get away from the Addam’s drama"
"I don’t blame him for that, your lot sound awful"
"It is the worst of them that are still in London"
