This story deserves more than what I've been doing lately. This next chapter isn't flowing naturally for me (and quite frankly most of the recent chapters.) I need to do some more brainstorming and try to sit with this story more. I want to create somewhat of a backlog too. This story will be back on regular updates in January. <3
Also I need to write more words apparently.
So...the book will likely end between chapters 40-50. Before writing the book I had an ending in mind that really excited me. It's just getting through the messy middle that is challenging me. I have a general outline but not enough ideas for the individual chapters themselves. When I make things up (since I am publishing an ongoing first draft) I sometimes write myself into a corner and need to push forward for consistency.

When I edit this book, I am thinking of editing out the teens as a whole. I wrote them on whim and haven't made them valuable enough for the plot (hmm, except for maybe Bennet.) I think the characters should just be Samantha, Karl, Julius, Kristo, Mel...and the cursed family.
Anyways, I plan to read your guys' works and catch up sometime in the near future, when work is less busy for me. You guys are really important friends and it's been such a joy to meet people like you. Thank you for sticking with me. You guys are the best.
