Butler Harin Lovarno looked at Arther.
“Why do I feel my lord has lost too much of his memory? He shouldn’t be this amazed or shocked by the presence of the army and the replica of ancient formations,” Harin thought internally, clearly feeling something was off about Arther.
The spears made from the mysterious ancient yellow energy pierced through the clouds, disappearing from sight.
Arther looked extremely amazed by these actions. Even though he was never interested in fantasy-related things in his previous world, this time he was witnessing true magic and military power.
His amazement grew as he stared at the scene.
But suddenly, wind and dust started entering the palace — ignoring the walls. They constantly gathered toward the woman in the dark purple robe. Then, the gathered wind and dust were released by a wave of her hand toward the army.
The wind fiercely charged at the soldiers, accompanied by heavy dust that blocked vision beyond twenty meters once entered.
The soldiers struggled to hold their ground against the wind and dust guided by an invisible force coming from the lady, which penetrated the barrier effortlessly and crashed into them.
The soldiers shielded their faces with their left hands. As their hands retracted, the shield formed by the ancient formation’s yellow energy weakened rapidly.
“Is she trying to hurt her own companions?” Arther looked shocked by the unexpected twist of events.
Dimming rapidly, the barrier was losing its hold on the ground without anyone controlling it.
Some soldiers began getting pushed back by the wind, while others desperately tried to maintain the barrier with their staffs as the nodes. But the staffs showed less control over the barrier than their physical bodies — the staffs seemingly emitted the invisible force to maintain it.
Suddenly, some soldiers started unsummoning their staffs and let out low shouts.
Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.
Left leg back, right leg front, arms wide apart, palms clenched into fists.
A burst of invisible force rushed out from each of their bodies, violently clashing with the wind and dust controlled by the young lady.
The ones who held their staffs thrust the bottom into the ground with both hands gripping tightly. Their eyes closed, slightly leaning toward their respective staffs.
They channeled their power through the staffs as mediums into the ground continuously. The fading barrier shook violently as the invisible force entering the formation started turning into visible ancient yellow auras.
The invisible force, seemingly refined by the formation, rushed into the barrier — the originally fading barrier now glowed with extreme yellow, far stronger than before.
“Retract!” A low shout came from the young lady. It was already hard to hear.
Combined with the wind, dust, and the swirling sound of ancient yellow auras, it was as if a grenade had exploded amidst a nuclear blast — unhearable in the chaos.
But the soldiers in front stopped and closed their eyes. The others followed one after another.
Without hesitation, they crouched down in unison, creating an invisible barrier around themselves. Although weak, it protected them enough from the raging wind and dust to let them stay in place without being pushed back.
Suddenly, the winds became more frenzied — hitting like tidal waves.
The young lady on the stage continued manipulating them.
“What’s she doing? Is this some kind of training simulation?” Arther pondered to himself.
Some couldn’t hold on and began getting pushed back by several to dozens of meters with each wave.
The waves came rapidly every few seconds — unpredictable.
The soldiers who had barely managed to crouch and survive without being blown away gently placed their hands on the formation beneath them.
Suddenly, the formation shrank as the ancient yellow energy started being absorbed by the soldiers.
The formation grew weaker and weaker — the barrier slowly disintegrating into the air.
Within four seconds, the formation disappeared completely, shrinking to nothingness.
Arther looked at the butler as if to say, *“My head hurts. You better have an explanation ready.”*
A beam of light erupted from the previous center of the formation — ancient yellow once again. The beam was at least two meters wide in diameter.
It shot up into the sky, releasing a blast that sent out a shockwave, with yellow particles flying outward in a ring around it.
The blast completely dissipated the wind and dust controlled by the young lady.
The soldiers within were covered in these particles, which found their way into them.
Their speed increased drastically as they retreated like beams of yellow light — moving three hundred meters in just three seconds before stopping, leaving the platform entirely.
They all levitated in the air before slowly descending.
Arther’s eyes nearly popped out.
“What the hell? They can fly while outrunning hundreds of meters in seconds? What is this — biological nitro-infused racer cars? And there are four hundred of them…”
Arther sighed in his heart, unable to believe what he was seeing.
Everything here had shattered his worldview since he was transmigrated mere minutes ago.
Then they formed an organized line, entering the platform again via huge white stone steps.
The young lady had already expelled the wind and dust from the palace as soon as the soldiers retreated three hundred meters.
After they gathered in strict positions again, she finally spoke:
“Training III ends here. Wait until Training IV starts. You will have Lan Rino guiding you from now on. I will take my leave.”
Then the woman looked at Arther and Butler Harin Lovarno on the balcony.
