"What have you boys been eating?!" Sophos said concerningly.

  "Uhh... Demikoines?"

  "It's been 400 years since I've seen you're STILL DOING THIS?!?!?!"

  "I have to find a replacement, COME HERE!!"

  "Sometimes I forget I'm a murderer when I'm around that guy, I wonder why Sophos puts up with him. Also, he hasn't seen him in 400 years how old is Sophos?" Michail said while walking into Sophos's house.

  Theres JUST books, but only one catches his eye, "The Great Bia War."

  He grabs a stool and stands on it reaching for the book. He holds it, feeling the unique textures and gold lining in horrible condition, dust coverers the historian of the book "Antenor". He stares at the title of the book.

  "Bia? I've heard of Bia before in Lucas's backstory, it's a giant cube! But I've also heard of someone using a magic of some sorts which is called Bia, hm."

  "Now when thinking about it this book might be ancient." Michail flips on the first page, then he realizes something.

  "I can barely read any of this! It's my parent's fault, why couldn't I just be born normally? Maybe Sophos can teach me how to read?"

  "They're probably too busy."

  Michail walks around the library, searching for anything interesting.

  He sees stories of the Kardia, and Melania Era. Stories of Lords creating mystical lands, stories of unimaginable treasures. And on book about lost history of a forgotten island, with strange creatures different than Demikoines or humans.

  MIchail sits down, until he hears Sophos and Lucas arguing, they stop and walk into the room where Michail is.

  "Michail your training starts tomorrow; I suggest you read a book to past the time."

  "The thing is I can't read very well, can you teach me how to?"

  "Welp, I guess I have the spare time, what book do you need help with sonny?"

  Michail hands him the Great Bia War.

  "This one's a good one! I was actually going to recommend this one to you! I'm glad you're actually interested into book, can't say the same for this one."

  "You're so lame old man, books are deadly boring." Lucas said grudgingly.

  "Old man? You both are hundreds of years old!"

  "Well, there are 3 types of Demikoine, the standard ones you see laboring around villages which only live to about 170. Then, Advanced Demikoines which are rarer. They also are naturally stronger and smarted than the standard ones, they can live for around 750 years. The last ones are called 'The Pinnacle of Demikoines' they are extremely strong and can live for almost 1,000 - 10,000 years, but they're one in a million, currently there are around 30 or so including me and Lucas in history.

  "Yea so I'm essentially in my late twenties, even though I am thousands of years old. And Sophos is waaaaay older than you could think of." Lucas said.

  "Living for that long would be close to torture, I actually do have a few more questions such as how you are still alive Lucas?

  "Well, I'm sort of cursed and I can't die, Sophos wouldn't even tell me anything about my situation until now. He wouldn't even tell me how to control it!"

  "You could take over the world if I teach you something like that! Listen I stand for peace, if it wasn't for a better cause and for this kid Michail I wouldn't even bat an eye. Anyways go away it's going to get boring in here."

  Lucas walks out of the room. "If I had the strength to beat him, I would've done it a long time ago!"

  Sophos opens the first page gently flipping the wrinkled cover open, and the smell of vinegar hits Michail hard.

  Sophos reads a couple pages which consists of starting dates

  "1203 ALF - 1630 ALF"

  "This stands for After Legends Fate, and it's how the people of the Western Kingdom measure dates."

  "So that's when it takes place? What year is it now?" Michail asked.

  "It's the year 2486."

  "Wait that's like..." Michail holds up his fingers counting.

  "It started 1283 years ago and ended 856 years ago." Sophos said.

  "That's so old!"

  "Yea, gladly you don't have to live that long, I'd say you have a good 120 years left." Sophos said normally.

  "Thank you...?"

  Before the War it all starts with a man named "Sozo" not to be confused with Sophos of course. He was born in 821 ALF and had a quiet childhood until he started to show his immense intelligence. He's one of the many Pinnacle of Demikoines. In the year 900 the Western Kingdom would be established by a ruler of the name "Fire Lord", he was called this because of his unique powers of explosions and fire. He's a strong leader and he doesn't take no for an answer. Sozo living in the Western Kingdom, was interested in his sudden superpowers, he wanted to study them and same as the other rival Demikoine Kingdoms around the world.

  In 1283 Sozo would rise in the ranks and would be trusted for his intelligence and hard work, and he managed to get a basic understanding of the Fire Lords powers. Sozo would call it 'Bia' and share this information with General Ozias, and they would find a way to weaponize even better than the Fire Lord can. They created the Martial Arts of Energy. This consisted of all types of Energy control such as, Gravitational Control, Thermal control, Electrical control, Chemical control, Mechanical control, Nuclear control, and Sound control. They rushed fast to get bare minimum results so most of these Controls are not fully fleshed out.

  "This is interesting, when will the war start?"

  "it already has begun, this war is the race to Bia!... Well, the bloodshed will happen soon." Sophos said frowning.

  After the Great Fire Lords death, Sozo would rule and he would be a great ruler generally using his force to contribute to his nation and even benefit others, but other nations were not agreeing with Sozo powers. The King of the NK, Dimitris would be interested in this "Bia" but not in a good way. He saw becoming something stronger than the Fire Lord, he wanted to become the Lord of All using all types of Bia, essentially ruling everything. He had a plan to make secret and undetected tunnels toward the WK and kidnap Oz to get some information on Bia.

  WK would be invaded by multiple nations through underground tunnels and a double agent invading the inside of the WK Kingdom. Ozias would be captured and the secrets of Bia would be revealed.

  In 1630 all hell goes loose. Every nation has a decent understanding of Bia and they all want more. Madness and madness the Bia corrupted them because of there trauma but that wasnt stopping them. All over the lands they fought and killed to get towards Sozo. His own kingdom turned on him, he was cornered he gave them what they needed and left one thing before he died, "The Roads of Sozo." Sozo thought that "As long as Knowledge exists, Demikoines are not doomed. Even if our minds broke, or bones fractured, with knowledge we can thrive."

  Sophos closed the Book, making sure to carefully put it back.

  "They didn't have to kill him, why couldn't they work with him?" Michail said.

  "Well, that's the cruel nature of the world people die for no reason all the time."

  "... I think you should think hard about fighting Thumos, maybe you shouldn't risk your life."

  "And why should I do that? He's evil!"

  'Listen, Michail this world is going to try to break you as much as possible... I have some history that I need to tell you. Long ago I was a part of the Kardia, it was me, Alkaios, Eros, and Soul. Each one of us representing strength, desire, souls and intelligence me. We were created by God to handle the Melania Era and create peace. Each one of us had a purpose and we followed it, ending the Melania Era. We put Bia in the heart of the earth, we fulfilled our purpose, but God had left us. We went our separate ways, and soul the most powerful out of all of us had died. I would spend the rest of my life trying to use my intelligence to help others, but my powers had a cost. Every time I used them, I got horrifying images of the future it broke me to my core, knowledge I didn't want. I stopped using them, instead I went here and found Lucas. I hide here, and I think about the past, all I want to know is to meet the others, I want God back. All I think about is them, I even painted the burn marks from putting Bia in the scorching hot core of the Earth."

  "So, you're just too scared to help?! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"

  "Last time I used my powers I lost a part of myself I can't do it I'm so sorry." Sophos said.

  ...

  "I can't listen to you." Michail walks away.

  He passes the several bookshelves until he sees Lucas taste testing several foods.

  "Can I have some?"

  "Yea why not."

  Michail grabs an apple, it has a stamp on it.

  "Oh, I picked these fruits up by a trader, he said there, "Fermented by God Lucas himself!" and it would strengthen your Dunamis for work, it's funny how so many people actually think I'm a god." Lucas chuckles.

  "Dunamis? Is that a weapon or something?"

  "It's kinda like a special power, based on your hopes, dreams, and desires! Most people have them for hobbies and jobs and it can help them do better with work."

  "I want one!" Michail said with stars in his eyes.

  "It takes years to develop one, and you need to be at peak physical health AND have a good mental state, so I guess you'll never have one. You'd could get a false Dunamis which is a curse based on your nightmare and trauma!"

  "Huh so your immortality is your False Dunamis? I always thought you got cursed by a witch or something."

  "So, you got any good stories to tell me?"

  "Honestly nothing family friendly." Lucas said before tearing into bread.

  ...

  "BLEHh" Lucas throws up on the table

  "What the hell?" Michail said

  "Cough- I-I'm just testing if I can eat some these fruits."

  Michail gets up and walks out of Lucas's room making sure to avoid the puke, he grabs broom and a bucket.

  "Wait I can clean it up." Lucas takes it from Michail and cleans it with a rag.

  Lucas sits the bucket on the table and sits down.

  Michail walks away and heads towards his room.

  He lays down and begins to sleep, he has vivid nightmares of Lucas chasing him around that church.

  Michail sleeps the entire night tossing and turning.

  He wakes up in the morning.

  Michail Yawns and gets up opening his door to see Lucas and Sophos infront of him.

  "Uh hey, good morning?"

  Sophos whispers something to Lucas, Lucas nods.

  "It's time to TRAAAAAIN!!!!" Lucas yelled happily while grabbing Michail and carrying outside.

  "LET GO OF ME!" Michail screams thrashing around.

  "We have no time to waste!" Lucas said.

  "Ey, I didn't want it to be like this either." Sophos said while face palming.

  Lucas kicks open the door and drops Michail on the training field.

  "I'll teach you some of the Martial Arts of Energy, then you two will go on a mission to steal the Roads of Sozo!" Sophos yelled

  "HELL YEAAAH!" Lucas yelled back!

  "Cough Cough, can i change c-clothes first?" Michail whimpers on the floor.
