Dear readers,

  I had a rough time recently. Juggling life, responsibilities, and publishing is very tough. Writing started as a beautiful hobby I enjoyed, but publishing had been a challenging experience. Organizing shout outs, scheduling releases, reading feedbacks, following the metrics constantly... all of this is not easy and had taken a toll on me—especially with the fact that this is a side-thing, meant to be an escape, a place to breath, a place where I can get to be creative.

  Right now, I'm not feeling too well to continue publishing.

  Therefore, I will be away from RoyalRoad for a while. I don't know for how long honestly, and I don't know if I will ever be back on RoyalRoad.

  But the journey of my little heroes is not over.

  The story is finished in the drafts, with all its arcs. I just need to breath and let myself figure out when and how I should continue with the publishing when I feel like it.

  Maybe I'll come back to RoyalRoad again if I feel better and ready.

  Maybe I'll publish on Google Docs or on the Discord server... somewhere algorithm-free and metrics-free.

  Maybe I'll create my own website or some kind of newsletter subscription.

  ...Which was kind of the goal all along ( lol ).

  I can't believe I wrote all of this and the world is now in front of me with a cover, pages... and a small yet beautiful community behind it.

  I'm gifting a copy to one of the first readers who were not only invested, but also so encouraging. A beautiful person who kept me going throughout this journey, with the excited comments on chapters she liked. I also made cool friends—great writers with different yet mind blowing ideas and we hang on the novel's Discord server and I thank each and every single one of them, as they all helped me reaching this stage. ?? ?? ?? ??
