Chapter 19 : A Veil of Secrecy

  “Ivaan did it, but how?”

“He offered something valuable to me and showed me how this plan can help me to fulfil my purpose,” he said

“What purpose do you have, and what did he offer to you?” asked the lord

“My family was killed by those people who we helped, so I killed all of them,” he said, “but Ivaan made me understand that it didn’t change anything, and many people who knew my family still talk shit about them.”

“I want the head of all of those people, and I’ll ensure that nobody talks about my family in that way again. He gave me a purpose, and this purpose can only be fulfilled by your help.”

“I really like your passion for your purpose,” said the lord, “you will get what you desire, but when you are working with me, you should be fully devoted to me and whatever I say, you need to follow.”

  “I will, sire,”

“And by hearing all of this, I also got clarity about something,”

  “About what, sire?”

“About Ivaan, I think I have selected the most suitable person for this job,” said the lord, “what’s your opinion about him?”

“I don’t like him,” he said, and the lord raised his eyebrows, “but one thing I can say is that he is a good leader.”

“And that is all that it will take someone to lead this mission,” said the lord of Krimisha, “it doesn’t matter if you like him or not, but you will follow all of his commands and his commands have no less value than my commands; you should remember that.”

  “I’ll remember, sire,” he said

“I’m happy,” said the lord, “that you took the right decision in the end, otherwise it would have gone way worse for you.”

“I did what was best for me,”

“Good,” said the lord, “now you can go,” and he walked away from that place.

He came directly to Ivaan while he was flipping through the pages of a book on a wooden table with a pile of books placed beside him.

He noticed him coming, “What does he say to you? Was he suspicious of you?”, he asked while focused on the book.

“You were correct, he was suspicious about how I changed so quickly. I just said that you gave me a purpose and offered me the solution to fulfil it,” he said, “you won’t believe, he was deeply impressed by your leadership skills after I portrayed the change in myself created by you.”

“Then you did your job damn well,” Ivaan looked at him, “that’s what I wanted.”

“He also believes that you are the most suitable person for this job.”

“Now that’s what I call deep,” said Ivaan with a smirk, “I think till now we have been successful in our plan”.

“But we haven’t stopped him yet, then how did we succeed?”

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

“that is our major goal and here I am talking about the minor goals which are the stepping stones for the major” said Ivaan, “we are able made him believe that his mission is going really well and you are now loyal to him, now he will feel that he have no obstacle in his mission and he will be relaxed and we will use this to set our plan in motion.”

“And he will not be able to notice it,” he said, “but what if he still gets suspicious about me and you, he will get alert again.”

“He will not,” said Ivaan, “all of it depends on how you act.”

“What are you trying to find in the books?”

“I’m trying to find the spells which can be combined to reduce the energy radiated by the lord of Krimisha’s body,”

“What??!!” he said, “but you said that we would work against him, but it looks like you are helping him to fulfill his plan.”

“Because you're thinking on a short-term basis, but I’m thinking on a long-term basis,” said Ivaan, “yes, in the short term it would seem like I am working for him, which I want him to see, but in the long term we will stop him from succeeding in his plans.”

“But why are you working in front of me? It is just supposed to be for the show, right?”

“No, that’s not it” said Ivaan, “what do you think, If I pretend to do work and lie to him that I’m working on the plan then he will believe me, he will not believe me if I will not show him the work I have done and for that it should be real and also, we need to catch him red handed.”

‘I didn’t know that you had thought so much about it,”

“Why won’t I?” said Ivaan, “isn’t it our purpose?”

A man who had threatened Ivaan before was watching this from afar while hiding behind a wall and using a spell to eavesdrop on the conversation both of them were having.

I didn’t know that all of this was happening behind the scenes; whatever, it’s good for me to use it for my own advantage.

“What if someone heard us talking about all of this?”

“Doesn’t matter until the lord of Krimisha has faith in us, and we need to keep that faith.”

“I think you shouldn’t underestimate the lord of Krimisha. What if he is just pretending to trust you? We will end up in some serious trouble if he finds out,” he said

“It is possible, but it is a slight possibility,” said Ivaan, “so I don’t think we need to worry about it too much.”

“Okay, if you say so,” he said, “by the way, I saw meat and alcohol in the ingredient list, what’s there purpose?”

“First, great question,” Ivaan said, “I’ve written those things in the list because they are crucial for the potion we are trying to make, both alcohol and meat make our energy low vibrational, and they have a significant impact on our energies.”

“So, when we mix both of them in extremely large concentrations in the potion and when we will apply it over the lord of Krimisha’s body, it will act as a layer which will block the energy radiating from the lord’s body, making his energy similar to any human soul.”

“But I don’t think it will last longer because the lord of Krimisha is a divine entity, not any normal soul,”

“I’m well aware of that fact,” said Ivaan, “we don’t want it to last long enough, we want it to last till the lord comes out of hell.”

“If he ever leaves,” he said with a laugh, and Ivan smirked.

The man spying on them smirked from afar.

I don’t know how long it will take for Ivaan to ready those potions and other things so that I can leave this place as soon as possible, the lord of Krimisha thought, When I leave this place, Lord Yama will definitely send his Yamadutas to catch me, but it won’t matter because I know how to get rid of them.

And even if they did find me, I will have an army of these powerful magical souls to protect me; this way or that way, my win is inevitable.

  A Yamaduta appeared behind him.

He turned around and asked, “What is it?”

“Lord, you have been summoned to the court of Lord Yama,” said the yamaduta

Did he find out about my plan to escape hell? No, it’s not possible, I’m just worrying too much. I should go to Lord Yama’s court as soon as possible. I don’t want to give him any reason to be suspicious about me.

“I’ll be there,” said the lord of Krimisha, “you can go now.” Yamaduta disappeared

Lord Yama was waiting in the court for the lord of Krimisha, who was already late to his summons.

“Where is he?” asked lord Yama to Chitragupta

“Yamaduta told me that the lord of Krimisha is on his way, Lord Yama,” said Chitragupta.

“He better be here,” said Lord Yama, “before I find any other punishment to make him suffer.”

“Sorry, Lord Yama, I got delayed,” said the lord of Krimisha, entering the court.

“Believe me, you haven’t surprised me,” said Lord Yama, “everyone knows what you will do before you do it. Can you see how predictable you are?”
