Chapter 1

Adrian Suarez struggled to process the sight before him. Yet there they stood… three distinct female goblins, their figures unmistakable against the backdrop of his reality.

Though simir in their petite stature and sharp, pointed ears, each exuded her own unique style and presence.

The first had golden blonde hair styled in two meticulously braided twin tails, reaching halfway down her back.

Beside her stood another, with vivid red hair cascading freely down her back in unkempt waves as though it had been neglected in favor of practicality.

The third on the far right, bore midnight-bck hair cropped to neck length, her sharp appearance accentuated by gleaming earnings pierced through her prominent ears.

Adrian blinked his mind racing. “This has to be a dream,” he muttered, his voice breaking the silence. “There's no way this could be real.”

The three goblins, their expressions unreadable, turn their gazes toward him away from the monster fight between Hornstrike Jaguar and Hellish Deer.

The blonde one facing Adrian with a kind smile on her face speaks. “What dream? You look wide awake to me; I mean, can’t you see and hear those two monsters? No way for this to be a dream from that.”

“I think it's more like he's in a state of denial that what is happening would be too much for a human mind.” The next female goblin to turn head back was the one with the short bck midnight hair that showed a chance at getting a better look at her face like she was wearing goth makeup by how dark the eyeliner was, and those lips painted bck.

“Whoa she looks like a hot goth, only she's not human, but it's still hot.” Adrian thought while being vexed by the beauty of this little creature.

“That's what you think, Dilsee; I mean, from his face, it does seem that way. Also, look at that weird clothing; he is wearing a never-seen outfit like that before.”

“Well, Sussa, it's not like we have many encounters with humans; maybe this is their new fashion look.”

“True, humans are so rare these days; I mean, there is not a look back at the city; then again, it is more of us there than any other race.”

“Hey, you two, how about you cut the chit-chat and stop looking at the human, too? Pay attention to two monsters fighting in front of us.”

Both those female goblins turn their head to their comrade in the middle, keeping their eyes on the fight between monsters.

“Jeez, rex Khinsa, those two monsters aren’t going to end their fight anytime soon. Both have equal grounds for going up against each other. Not often do we get a nice show like this and it is not going to end anytime soon.” Dilsee says she believes it to be that these monsters will have a fight that is going to take some time before concluding.

“Check again cause it looks to me that the fight is reaching its near ending”

Just as she was saying that, so does it show to be true when everyone witnesses the Hornstrike Jaguar use its horn, finding an opening chance to find a pce in the Hellish Deer chest.

Impaling deep to break through the skin and spill the monster's blood out while it let out a pyful cry.

The Hellish Deer still had a fight not going to die that easily from being stabbed by a horn in which to summon the fire within to bst upon the back of the Hellish Deer.

It was the other monster's turn to let out its painful cry when feeling the intense burning fmes work away the Hornstrike Jaguar's tough skin.

From another point of view, it would seem that this beast monster is to meet its end by way of being burnt to death. Yet the Hornstrike Jaguar shows that will not be the case when it pushes on forward with its Horn to pce itself deeper so that within the Hellish Deer body, there comes a colorful glow.

“Oh, that is not good for the Hellish Deer; it doesn’t know of its opponent's other attack besides the horn,” Sussa says, feeling a bit pity for the monster not knowing what is about to come.

“Sussa these monsters don’t have that time to learn about other fellow monster's types of abilities. Only through combat would one gain the knowledge it needs to be ready for any future encounter from the same monster.”

“Spoken from the monster expert herself, that's why we love you, Khinsa always carries that kind of knowledge.”

Khinsa rolled her eyes while having a half-crack smile on her face. "It's not because I always have the money to spare for more drinks whenever we come to find ourselves in a tavern.”

“That and also being a great friend to kindly spend that money for her dear best friends.” Dilsee reaches around to warp that arm on her friend.

Khinsa's half-crack smile turns into a full one unable to contain it. "Yeah, cause someone got to look after you two when both have your kind of trouble. Which I have to deal with from time to time.”

“What we’re not that…” Before Sussa could finish that sentence there came the sound and shockwave bst the Hornstrike Jaguar acted on.

For a second, their attention was brought back to see a new bst to pieces; with some flying in random directions, the front half of the Hellish Deer's body was destroyed. The rest fall to the ground with blood and guts spilling everywhere.

The Hornstrike Jaguar stands tall even with burnt flesh on its back which would take a long time for healing for these monsters since it wasted no time to have a feast on the other half of the body.

Being too hungry after chasing Adrian to fight against another threat of a monster feeding on what was left of its body to regain some energy back and to fill its belly fully.

“Oh man, there goes good mertals we could have collected from Hellish Deer and sold off for some good money,” Dilsee says out loud. The monster is eating and hears it stop feeding, looking over its way with blood all over its face.

“Big kitty seems to be interested in us now, Khinsa do I have permission to fight this monster alone.”

“You want to go one-on-one with the Hornstrike Jaguar, Sussa, you, and that troublesome thirst to face every monster on your own. There is no reason to risk putting your life on the line like that.”

“Please, it's nothing like that; I just love fighting monsters, and what makes it even more enjoyable is being the one to bring a monster down. So what is your answer then? Cause there is no time on our side for much of a think-on.”

Sussa asked, hoping the right one would be what she wanted to hear, but a monster wouldn’t do the same.

  [Roar]

All hear it where the same attack done to the Hellish Deer is being used against them witnessing its horn glowing at the tip. Channeling an energy bst requires just a few seconds until releasing it at a full potential that can destroy a smaller body into nothing, but ash.

Khinsa didn’t like what this Hornstrike Jaguar was doing and needed to give out orders fast for their group to be doing. “All right, Sussa, you got your wish, but if things look like it is turning too much to handle, I’m joining in. Dilsee, I like for you to move that human to a safer spot from the fight. I don't need him getting killed when being in the way.”

“Sure, I don’t mind that, but I don't see it going to be needed by how I fight.”

Sussa tells her friend while removing the cloak around her body, showing what was under to be bikini armor covering some parts of the body like the shoulder, arms, wrist, and chest where her slightly rge breasts are being held.

Her stomach is exposed to show off the abs this Goblin worked hard to make happen and at the waist had a blue silk cloth attached to the belt that held this cloth in pce while it covered the back because of how long it length was and the front which was a bit shorter compared to the back.

“You got it, boss, I don't want that cutie to die when he could be so useful to our group,” Dilsee says, moving fast to reach Adrian, who was frozen the whole time, being all quiet and just staring at what was going on.

Once back to reality, he sees the goth goblin looking right at him with a kind smile. “Hey sexy, welcome back. I'm going to need you to come with me somewhere safer.” Dilsee tells him touching his arm in a manner of one being forward to another.

Adrian couldn’t have the words to say something at the time, not used to being flirted on by a female, less so to one that was inhuman.

“DILSEE, MOVE IT NOW,” Khinsa shouted to her friend alerting that the monster bst from its horn was ready.

“Ah, shit.” Dilsee grabbed the human and forcibly took him with her to one side to make sure they didn't get caught up in it.

The bst from Hornstrike Jaguar horn, Khinsa, and Sussa already moved themselves as the bst cut through the ground for a second till the explosion came afterward.

All that touched them was the intense shockwave of the wind, having to make sure their eyes didn’t get attacked by the dust around. Taking a few seconds for it to go away for the air to be clear for them to see again.

“Oh… my god… what just happened.”
