“ We have to leave in a couple of days if we want to move and catch the next possible phase shift when all the dynamic variables are stable for movement through the land of Kuangbao as it is a land where entire swarms of low intelligent Depraves live.” Amir concluded the summary of when and where we were supposed to go.

  “ Any questions.” Tuz asked before adjourning the meeting.

  “ None.”

  l was pretty much pumped on going as there were no reasons for me not to go. Actually there were several questions l wanted to ask but it was getting late so I simply wanted to quell the meeting and as l was absorbed in the reading of the new profound map that l had seen. I was reading all of the map’s labels and patterns. It was a dimensional map of the mesopotamian sector and it was more thorough than the humans. It consisted of all the dimensional variants that plagued this sector’s region.

  “ Can you give it back to me?” Tuz Badr asked for it back.

  “ OK, wait a moment.” l was close to fully memorizing the details when Mr. Badr intervened on his own behalf from me reading the map.

  “ If you want, l will give it to you after the commission. You can consider the fee for the job this time.” Tuz said.

  “ Oh! Really.”

  l was surprised to know that it was the reward for the job this time. However, the mischievous look that Tuz Badr was giving me said different things about the whole situation. I was moved and for a moment, I thought and decided to not give back the map.

  “ Come on, give it back. I do not have a copy of it. When we go back to Deprave civilization, l will give it back or you can buy one yourself.” Mr. Badr made a point that eased my pain of losing such an important asset but it also boosted another reason for me to visit the Deprave colonies. I wanted to see the parts of their technology that I had not been able to see or get my hands on. I was a collector of sorts and collected different pieces of technology to remain ahead of the times as it was a passion of sorts of mine.

  “ OK, here you go.” After putting a thorough look at it once more, l gave it back to Tuz.

  “ Thanks, you really are interested in the weirdest of things.” He said when I handed the map to him.

  “ You should pack up your things. We will come back in a couple of days, let’s say in a fortnight or less. Pack your things properly as we are going on a field trip. An extended one on that.” Zayn Aadil said.

  “ I got it. I will pack up things for Ellaya too. It had been a while since we went on a field trip. It would be a good thing for her and me to get burdens off my shoulders and to undermine the correctability of the Deprave technology and their mapping techniques.” I said with the intention of putting the methodology of the Deprave under test.

  “ You will not be disappointed.” Zayn the butler assured me of it.

  “ OK, so meet you again in a week or two.” I looked toward Zayn and conveyed my thoughts.

  “ Yes, let’s meet but remember to come fully suited.” Zayn gave me a fair warning.

  “ Do not take tension. I would be appropriately dressed.” l gave my share of the deal that l would take my special gear with me as if l was given an assignment to hunt down an excessively large advance Deprave. I was going to a civilization of Depraves so l had to be extra careful, not only for myself but for Ellaya’s sake as well. I had gone out with Ellaya on a number of events before so I was not at all that much worried about the Deprave attacks even if they were advance ones as long as I came prepared l could hunt. The last one that I hunted was about four hundred and seventy two years ago and l had changed much since then so of course I could handle advance Depraves much more effectively than before.

  “ Dehel, you do not need to take tension. I have cracked how to hunt advance Deprave.” Ellaya assured me that she could protect herself now.

  “ How are you sure? You little biscuit.” l teased her as l did not believe that she was strong enough to protect herself from advance Depraves.

  “ She would be alright. I have tested her, she can hold her own against an average advance Deprave. You do not need to put yourself in such a critical position. Before you arrived, l attacked for the purpose of testing her and your auto threat neutralization system but do you know what was the most fun part of all of this process?” Zayn Aadil said with a mood that I did not think.

  “ So what was it?” l asked to kill off all this excitement.

  “ What do you think?” The butler tried to keep up the air of curiosity.

  I really was getting tired of all these games that these people were starting to play out. What was the most important thing? It was all under the situation. My anti threat neutralization system was the top of the systems that could be found in the entire collapsed world but now that I think about why the systems were not operational when l came in the dimensional domain. They should be activated to neutralize a Deprave like Zayn, the snake type Deprave but they were not operable. That means that l was missing out on a very crucial thing so I stared at Ellaya to get my answer.

  “ Please, do not tell him?” Ellaya asked for secrecy.

  “ What? Do not tell me that she did?” I tried to confirm my suspicion.

  “ Yes, now you got it.” Zayn said.
