Chapter 4: Love does not dishonour.
“I have decided, I have resolved, to wait upon the Lord… My rock and redeemer, shield and reward, I’ll wait upon you Lord…” were the lyrics of the music that played as Jude was driving back home. He felt empowered by them, that they were somehow building is faith and through his praising and worshiping he was growing closer to God. “Father, today was a difficult day for me. Thank you for giving me the space to access the meeting, but I felt helpless. What a mess. I just don’t understand why people behave like that… Cynthia was clearly ambushed in that meeting… All her ideas stolen and presented as Georges.” he prayed.
“You’ll come… Let your glory fall as you respond to us. Spirit rain, flood into our thirsty hearts again. You’ll come, You’ll come…” he sang thinking this is my favorite part as he turned the volume up and began to sing louder in his car, “chains be broken! Lives be healed! Eyes be opened! Christ is revealed!”, bobbing his head to the music before beginning to sing again, but this time with more force and more as declarations into the Spirit “CHAINS BE BROKEN! LIVES BE HEALED! EYES BE OPENED! Christ is revealed!”
The Golden Wreath.
Jude could feel the tingling of God’s anointing begin on his head while he was singing and declaring. He recognised it from when he was younger. It was a familiar heat that was followed by a pins and needles type of feeling around the side of his head. It always started at the back and then moved along the side above his ears to the front. Sometimes when the anointing was very strong, he could feel the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit dripping down the back of his head and neck. In his mind, he always envisioned the anointing as a golden wreath that he wore in the spirit.
Jude couldn’t see it, but around him and in his car was a small squadron of angels with Glen who were all worshipping with him. As they worshipped, they became more empowered. God enjoyed and was pleased with their worship and praise offerings. “You will be a crown of splendour in My hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” Glen and the squadron could see that God had placed His Crown of Splendour onto Jude’s head while they were praising Him. They rejoiced in God all the more because they understood that God had anointing Him with Glory – the power to crush the enemy.
Private Worship.
“I’m not ready to leave your presence yet Father, I am enjoying being in this space” Jude prayed as he pulled into his parking spot. He gathered his things from the car and continued up into the apartment. Placing his work things down, he went into his room to change into more comfy clothes and went to find his earphones.
Jude pressed shuffle and play and the music began. He smiled recognising the introduction and thought “Father, you make me smile”. The song was Secret Place/Goodness of God by Hillsong Worship. Jude thought “here I am saying I am not ready to leave the presence of my King, and your Holy Spirit confirms that you are not ready either by playing the secret place.” He began to sing, “I remember the beginning, when I found the secret place. Don’t know why it was familiar, but I knew it right away. There were times it seemed so simple and sometimes so unsure. But not a moment was ever wasted knelt behind those closed doors”, he allowed the music to wash over him as he stood with his palms facing upwards and his hand at 90 degrees by his side, “It’s not hiding but it’s hidden, far from all religious games. No it won't bring recognition or get called up on a stage. ‘Cause the melody is sacred you sing in the secret place.”
The spirit realm opened up around Jude despite Jude's eyes not yet seeing. He was transported into the Heart of God, the chambers from which Jude was made. Where God pulled him from His essence and declared that Jude would live. The clay pit where He fashioned Jude and gave him the unique qualities that made him precious to God. The place of intimacy.

Jude gestured playing the drums as the music played, his eyes closed, heart and mind focused and in the moment. “It’s an open invitation, no words you have to say. If you want it you can get there, there’s a thousand different ways. There’s no glory in the method. None are right and none are wrong, You just put your trust in Jesus and then start to sing along.” Jude started to break out into spontaneous bouts of worship, “I will trust in you Jesus, you are my shelter! My keeper! The Glorious God of heaven and earth! My saviour! My Salvation! I worship you!”, he transitioned back to singing with the songs lyrics, “oh nothing is wasted in your presence, no nothing is wasted in your presence. Not a tear not a dream, no nothing is wasted in your presence! Because! Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me! With my life laid down, I surrender now, I give you everything… Your goodness is running, it keeps running after me”
Glen watched from the bed and saw how worship and praise of Jude opened the Gates that allowed the Spirit of God to fall onto Jude. Glen saw the Spirit of Goodness enter, "Goodness, thank you for responding to his call." said Glen, "Hi Glen, how are you? We have not seen each other since that day..." "I don't want to talk about that treacherous day goodness" said Glen. "The pain of his betrayal to us is still very raw", "I know Glen, I feel it too. But God will have His vengeance. At the appointed time the King of Glory will come in and slaughter the dragon. We have all seen it. Even he knows his days are numbered... But let's talk about the goodness I bring". Glen and Goodness continued to discuss the goodness of God that would be imparted onto Jude and what Glen needed to do to help Jude steward it faithfully until he found His voice and the Father granted Jude the Grace to enter the Spirit with His senses and see and hear.
“Thank you my king, thank you for your goodness towards me. Thank you for the blessing of this new job at Murray & Fitch. I don’t know what is happening Father God, but I know that you are with me. There seems to be conflict between Cynthia and George, I need your wisdom my Love. I need your wisdom. Bless me my king with Your Spirit of Wisdom, Your Spirit of Revelation in the Knowledge of You, Your Spirit of Discernment so I am able to distinguish between spirits and see what is happening and know the path you have prepared before me.” he prayed. Jude could feel the room was thick with God’s presence and the Holy Spirit. With his eyes closed, he could see on the back of his eyelids, the waves of yellow, blue, and white as the presence of God washed over him. He could feel the warmth and the heat of God’s glory resting on him.
The Voice.
While he was standing there in silence, soaking in the presence of God and enjoying being in this place – a thought came to him to read 1 Samuel 3. Jude couldn’t shake the thought so he decided to open his bible app and read 1 Samuel 3. He didn’t know much about Samuel, only that he was the prophet who anointed David to be king. So he was not sure what he was going to find.
He read verses 1 to 11, “the boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions. One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was. Then the Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered, “Here I am.” And he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” But Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down. Again the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” “My son,” Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. A third time the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if He calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’?” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” And the Lord said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle.” Jude finished reading and in total surrender prayed, “here I am Lord, Speak, you’re servant is listening.”
Goodness and Glen listened to the word and watched as it ministered in Jude. They could see the word come to life in the Spirit and become sigils burnt into the flesh of Jude... Goodness smiled, turning to Glen and said, "See, this is my favourite part just as it is written, I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people for this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord". "My gift is given - the sigil of God's covenant with Jude written on His heart...". Both Spirits smiled, "Glen, I will return now. The gate is open for me to return."
