Ash can see the dead and no one believes her. Instead, they wash their hands clean and walk away, calling her childish or a freak. So, as she watches the bones of the dead walk the earth, devoured by creatures of the night only to resurface over and over again, she learns its best to keep her second sight a secret. But the dead are not the only new sightings she can see with her special eyes; creatures of all shapes and sizes roam the earth, most keeping to themselves while others steal left socks straight out from dryers, and it all started when she stumbled into a different world.
